Inquiry about filling out the application forms

Hi,

I have two questions about filling out the application forms. I am trying to help a friend to fill her forms out, and I faced a problem because my own forms were filled out by a lawyer.

First of all, the 'Generic Application Form' is somehow not opening. It says:

To view the full contents of this document, you need a later version of the PDF viewer.


I tried to get the latest version and it still won't open. How can I manage to open the Generic Form?

My second question is about Schedule A, and some other forms, where we need to write the names in the native language. When I tried to write my friend's name in Arabic, it appeared backwards. Like (a n o M) instead of ( M o n a), for example.

Does anyone know why this is happening, or how I can solve these two issues?

For PDF, I guess you can tey Internet Explorer and save it. My guess is that you're opening in google chrome.
For Native Language, you can write with pen after printing your form.

It will probably be 3-4 months before you hear from CIC. I think it's difficult for any of us to guess if the cap will be full or not - hopefully you made it in time.

Hi, You can visit or call the GT connect centre to enable your mastercard for international POS transactions. There shouldnt be any issues after that as long as your account is adequately funded.

We have send our application on July 12 and arrived at NS on July 15, 2014. It's been more than 10 weeks, we haven't got any response from CIC. We have also send mail to CIC several times. But we haven't got reply of the mails. So what should we do now?

There are very remote chances. They only ask for it if they find somthing fishy there. Even if they ask, you can give them the details/statements of the accounts and stock sales/dp statement to prove that funds are yours.

If you want to pay online, try whatever card you have. If the website shows deduction, it is OK else try with another card. As long as it is master card, the name of the bank should not be a matter.

Wait for your turn.

Currently PER email to applicant is sent after 120 days of receiving application. So wait for that period to heard anything from CIO.

Don't send e-mail several time. CIO responds within 30 working days of receiving the query - if that query is sent after 6-8 weeks of receiving the application.
