Hi all, well I know this won't be much of a needed info, however, applied and docs have been received today at 10:39 Canadian time.

SS is updated accordingly. :)

It's 100% charged. Check with the bank.

Very true when I checked online my CC was charged Oct 1 :) I thought my bank would notify me thru text that's why I'm not checking online and thought I had negative assessment. I'm already trying to accept that my family might say bye to Canada. This is our 4th & last attempt (1st was 2008, 2nd was 2013, 3rd was 2014 for NS Prov Nominee & 4th was 2014 FSW). I said this will be last as we are getting old and we need to finally decide where to settle & buy own properties.

Some mistakes I did are the ff:
1. Was not able to answer Schedule A: were you detained, prisoned or incarcerated?
2. Was not able to specify UCI no.
3. Date of my last attendance in college is in correct in Schedule A.

Last minute, we sent updated Schedule A thru email & fax. Not sure if that helps.

Me and my wife are so happy that finally we received a positive response. If everything turned out well, this is really a dream come true that we will be able to give our daughter a better and safe environment since we currently live in a 3rd world country.

Sorry, I was not able to enter my record in the spreadsheet as I'm checking the forum only on mobile all the time.

Here's some of my info:
NOC code: 2173
App received: June 11
CC charged: Oct 1
Country: Philippines
Yrs of work experience: more than 10yrs

Thank you so much to this forum & to all of you. God bless us all.

May I ask to those who was approved from Philippines, how long in total did you wait until you received the visa?

Need Expert Opinion

I am a June 10th applicant under NOC 1112, and intend to submit a second application under NOC 1114. However, I noticed a problem with the dates of my employment for NOC 1114, if I submit the application this week, I will still run short of continuous 1 year criterion by 19 days. The minimum work experience requirements as per CIC is as follows:

B) Minimum requirements
Work experience
If your application is eligible to be processed, we will then assess it to see if your work experience, as described above, is valid.
Your work experience must be: at least one year (1560 hours), full-time or an equal amount in part-time.

Can i interpret this to mean that if I have more than 1560 hours, I will still qualify? As per CIC full time means 30 hours per week, I have worked 45 hours a week, therefore, even if I am short by 19 days, I have still clocked more than the required 1560 hours.

Appreciate a comment from the experts.

There is almost nobody in 1114 so there is no rush. Play it safe and wait 19 days.

Not yet dear !! Theres still hope..CIC has just started charging 18th june.

CIC started charging 18th June applicants whereas i am a 9th June applicant. So they've gone through my application and decided not to charge for a reason?
They go on first come first served basis right?

I hate to say that but a true copy of the original BC is indispensable for processing the application.

Is there a way to correct this?

I don't know weather I sent original BC with file.

Folks,

I have been following the posts for over a month, thanks for the valuable information you provide here. I am almost ready to send my application and have a quick question, your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

For the Work experience letter, Should we send a photocopy or the original? I can send the original as I don't have a use for it but my concern is will VO ask for it again if I send the original to CIC?

Thanks

CIO asks for photocopy only so send the copies only. Keep original with you so if vo ask for it.

Good luck

Can I change the duties? wont they think I lam lying to them...Pls let me know what you think..
I am planning to apply under noc 4011 now...

You wish to apply under the same NOC? As long as you are being honest, there's no problem obtaining new letters that are more detailed so you can more explicitly show that you performed the required duties. Again, that is as long as you are being honest.

yes it have submitted pay stubs and IT return too.i have also give reference letter from 3rd party. is it enough?

I hope you do have the relevant qualifications to perform the duties that you are claiming in your reference letter, also Form 16s and payslips and bank statements showing salary deposits may help in allaying any concerns they may have. If they are still not convinced, they may ask for a personal interview, but I dont think that it warrants rejection at this stage. In my opinion a third-party reference letter may not be valid, it is as good as a self-attested declaration. Dont give up hope yet, many applicants between June 4 and June are still awaiting payment charge. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

Pray for good. If you are from India it takes around 2 months to reach interiors. Meanwhile you can prepare second file and send it to CIC as soon as possible.

My nationality is not Indian. Does it matter of the nationality is different? Do different nationalities have different review periods?

Re-posting,

Can anyone please give valuable comments on above?

Seniors, experts & admin please need urgent help.

Thank you

List all countries where you lived within the specified time period. If you had multiple immigration statuses at different points in time, list them all and the corresponding time periods.
