Hi,

Has anyone got the US PCC from FBI recently. I guess they are taking lot of time (around 12+weeks) these days as they have implemented some new IT system.

My fingerprints were received on 12th Aug and CC charged on 10-Oct. Any idea by when should I expect my PCC report.

I have to submit my PCC and PR fee by 11th Nov. Will NDVO allow some more time to submit the PCC in case I don't receive my PCC by then

Welcome back can0l

Hey Thanks buddy, you know I am currently traveling and hence can access the forum only on phone and that too sparingly. Hence will be seen less for the next 3-4 days further. So you can breathe a sigh of relief. ;)

My only worry is that I have to submit my documents by 11th Nov.

What is it gets delayed. Will NDVO allow some more time to submit the PCC

CAP 2172 has database analyst and data administrator. I Can see below roles and responsibilities separately below:

My question : Do I need to get role and responsibilities for both database analyst and data administrator?? Or one will suffice?

Database analysts perform some or all of the following duties:

Collect and document user requirements
Design and develop database architecture for information systems projects
Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement and test data models and database management systems
Conduct research and provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding the selection, application and implementation of database management tools
Operate database management systems to analyze data and perform data mining analysis.
May lead, co-ordinate or supervise other workers in this group.
Data administrators perform some or all of the following duties:

Develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models
Research and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, data access rules and security
Develop policies and procedures for network and/or Internet database access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data
Conduct research and provide advice to other information systems professionals regarding the collection, availability, security and suitability of data
Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers
May lead and co-ordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards and models.

Any 1 will do.

Mail them or call them they will respond you with proper response. The below mentioned link may be useful to you :

Hello to All,

I have a few questions:

1. My passport is in spanish and CIC asks for copy of passport do I have to translate the passport information or the copy in spanish will?
2. The same with my national ID card?
3. The bank certificate for proof of funds is in spanish, do I have to send a translated copy of the document?

Thanks!!!

As a rule, any document not in English or French must be translated in accordance with the Guide. Read the Guide carefully so you know what you need to provide (certified copy of original, translation, affidavit from translator). But for #1, check to see if your passport also has English or French. Almost all countries' passports have at least one or the other. In that case there's no need to translate that.

Guys one question...My spouse recently finished schooling. How should we inform CIC. should it be my email or snail mail?

Please provide the email address and address to where it should be mailed!!

You can update the local VO when they request further documents/MR. No need to inform CIC at this stage. Also unless there are some adaptability points involved it won't really matter, but it's good to be thorough as they do ask for updates of this type.

Hi All,

Anyone 20th may applicant with visa office london, received MR, PCC request.

I am 20th may application with london visa office and PER date 9.9.14, havent received any update from the VO yet.

Also, please advice if it is ok to have my pcc now or i should wait for request from vo.

You can go ahead and get PCCs now, no need to wait.

The timing that I am online on the forum will really fool people into believing I am in Canada. But rest assured, I am still in India. Wish I could go to Canada sooner..:)

Is CIC closed today?

First of all a big HI!! to all the members of this forum. This forum is so FULL of info whew. Have been reading for hours now. Couldn't ask for more info.

Just need one quick reply from anyone who has experience in this, I have finished most of the important things like applying to WES, gathered all the relevant documents, now I have just two quick queries:

1) PCC: I am an Indian Citizen, working in South Africa for the past 9 months, my question, which PCC do I get? Indian (from Embassy in South Africa) OR South African PCC OR BOTH?
2) Work Experience: I have over 10 years of experience, which complicates things as per the "set format" of offer letters/contracts issued by companies in India/South Africa which do not specify things like No. of work hours per week, main responsibilities and duties in each position. Despite me requesting my previous companies. Is it okay if I write a letter in my application explaining why the above is not possible to be submitted?

Thanks in advance for all the responses and help! This forum is highly appreciated!

Good luck to all and I promise I will be more active and try my best to help.

Regards

1. Both. PCCs are required from anywhere you have lived for 6 months or more since age 18.
2. You need to give the full employment info requested by CIC, especially the description of duties, hours per week, etc. If you can't get this from the company itself on letterhead, try to get the basic or set format from the company (whatever they are willing to provide) and supplement that with a personal letter from a supervisor or colleague who knows/knew your work, so you can provide the details of your job duties and other required information. Information you provide yourself is not acceptable even if it is sworn, notarized, or whatever. It has to come from someone else with actual knowledge of your work.

Good luck.
