First of all a big HI!! to all the members of this forum. This forum is so FULL of info whew. Have been reading for hours now. Couldn't ask for more info.

Just need one quick reply from anyone who has experience in this, I have finished most of the important things like applying to WES, gathered all the relevant documents, now I have just two quick queries:

1) PCC: I am an Indian Citizen, working in South Africa for the past 9 months, my question, which PCC do I get? Indian (from Embassy in South Africa) OR South African PCC OR BOTH?
2) Work Experience: I have over 10 years of experience, which complicates things as per the "set format" of offer letters/contracts issued by companies in India/South Africa which do not specify things like No. of work hours per week, main responsibilities and duties in each position. Despite me requesting my previous companies. Is it okay if I write a letter in my application explaining why the above is not possible to be submitted?

Thanks in advance for all the responses and help! This forum is highly appreciated!

Good luck to all and I promise I will be more active and try my best to help.

Regards

- PCC from both India and SA
- Try and get a letter stating your duties from your supervisor or colleague
- You can include your payslips for proof of pay

Welcome to the forum.

1. Need PCC from both India and South Africa
2. Send self described roles and responsibilities, attaching email reply from employers denying to issue letter with those details.

Damn you fast bro! (2 Thumbs up)

Thanks makes perfect sense. And thanks for the warm welcome. Appreciate it all!

I think I will be able to apply in the next 20 days or so if all goes well. Although chances are slim to get through the under the 2174,2173 NOC eh? Thoughts? They are really filling up fast.

Regards

Gsw Thanks a lot for prompt reply.

1. Since I am in Canada, any idea do i need to give only IELTS or I have an options as I know there is exam called as CLB which is cooperatively easier than IELTS. Can I go for CLB
2. So for adaptability, I can score 10 points. thanks for confirmation
3. What are the name of agencies, which I need to check to get my undergraduate degree verified and certified. Please let me know

1. Both Indian and South African PCC required.
2. get a letter from your seniors mentioning the missing details like job duties, salary, work hours, Date of joining and leaving, etc. Attach pay slips, and other relevant certificates along with this ref letter.

Hi,

Has anyone got the US PCC from FBI recently. I guess they are taking lot of time (around 12+weeks) these days as they have implemented some new IT system.

My fingerprints were received on 12th Aug and CC charged on 10-Oct. Any idea by when should I expect my PCC report.

I have to submit my PCC and PR fee by 11th Nov. Will NDVO allow some more time to submit the PCC in case I don't receive my PCC by then

CAP 2172 has database analyst and data administrator. I Can see below roles and responsibilities separately below:

My question : Do I need to get role and responsibilities for both database analyst and data administrator?? Or one will suffice?

Database analysts perform some or all of the following duties:

Collect and document user requirements
Design and develop database architecture for information systems projects
Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement and test data models and database management systems
Conduct research and provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding the selection, application and implementation of database management tools
Operate database management systems to analyze data and perform data mining analysis.
May lead, co-ordinate or supervise other workers in this group.
Data administrators perform some or all of the following duties:

Develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models
Research and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, data access rules and security
Develop policies and procedures for network and/or Internet database access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data
Conduct research and provide advice to other information systems professionals regarding the collection, availability, security and suitability of data
Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers
May lead and co-ordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards and models.

1. you can go for IELTS / CELPIP. There is no exam called CLB. CLB bands are the measuring yardsticks for Canada Government. IELTS is a better option.
2. Yes 10 points for adaptability.
3. WES is the best for ECA (educational credentials assessment.
