Thanks for the information.

But you just mentioned that you submitted your medicals...have you sent something to NDVO or you just went to the doctor and got your medical done??

We also did our medical on 28-Sep and the doctor gave us one form which has to be sent to the NDVO. I was thinking that it has to be sent along with PCC and other documents.

I have submitted my medicals on 16 Sep and got the 3rd line added in ecas - Your Medicals have been received on 22 Sep 2014. Previously I also sent my PCC to NDVO and paid RPRF online.

I believe NDVO is yet to send out their first PPR (Passport Request).. Lets see who gets lucky first... Although I have little hope that they'll send PPR before Diwali .. i.e. 23 Oct.. nevertheless prayers for everyone are on..!! :-)

Hi Experts,

Is there any way for the file I have already sent across that I can get the NOC changed.

Please let me know in case any one has tried it or done it before.

Thanks,
Bani

I dont think this is possible...The fact that you are expected to mention your NOC on the application implies that applications to a particular NOC are assigned to a particular desk/individual and therefore you can only send additional documents with reference to the NOC applied, but changing the NOC is well nigh impossible (just an opinion).

Hi Admin,

It looks like the SS estimate charge date is not near to estimation. When I calculated my CC charge date manually (by assuming a new cc date each day), it comes to Dec 24 as my charge date, but in SS it is one month back, it is showing Nov 21.

Thanks,
Annie

I seriously doubt NOC can be changed after submission, in new NOC you have to resubmit the whole application+documentations along with a fee. However, you should wait for another opinion.
Yeah but I was just wondering if I could do that cos filing in for new NOC will again push me back further into the capping criteria. My 2174 file was received on Aug5 if now I will try sending a new file with 2173 it will reach there by 20 Oct atleast and seats already capped are 392 so in that case wont have a chance in that NOC also.
Best wud have been if I could get my earlier file updated to new NOC. :-\

As per the SS, no one has received the passport request from NVDO.

Is there someone who has submitted the medicals, PCC and PR fees and waiting for Passport request.

Any idea how much time it takes to receive the passport request after submitting the requested documents.

I got the MR mail on 17th september. after the Medical tests are done, the ecas status got updated in less than 3days(i dint send any doc to CHC, e-medicals send directly by the lab). i have couriered the MR acknowledgement, PCC and RPRF on 25th september. waiting for PPR now..

Hi Singh2014, Is it doc given the report to you by hand to send it to NDVO or they will send the report directly to NDVO..?

dont you think if he sends in for 2173 he has a chance ?

I probably wont be able to comment on the Cap date for 2173. But then, the forum member is planning to apply again for NOC 2174. Again, these 2 NOCs being similar, the Job Duties would have subtle variations. This again is subject to debate.

If you believe in God, then pray to him..... he will make you get through this....
all the best..

The report is sent directly by the lab.

They just give you one stamped acknowledgement which has to be sent along with other documents.

Hello Friends,

Advice required.

I received PER on 2nd October and i have not yet done my PCC. I am from New delhi and should be getting the request from NDVO.

When does PCC request usually come. Should i start with the process of collecting the PCC, since it might take couple of weeks to get PCC done for my wife as we got married this year and before marriage she used to stay in a different city.

Do we need to get fresh PCC done once we get request from the visa office ?

Hi,

After PER it takes minimum of 45 days as per current trend to receive your MR/PCC mail from NDVO.
PCC validity is 6 months according to Passport Office (PSK).

If the address of Passport is same as of your current residential address there should be no hassle in receiving your PCC from PSK (mostly same day). If, it is different then they may ask you to wait to issue your PCC.

I suggest you to decide when best to initiate your PCC process with details in your passport.

Hope this helps !

My suggestion would be to refrain from complicating your case. As told by a member, this is really unrealistic request to CIC where probably applications are sorted by NOCs. Your request basically breaks this sorting.

There are chances that your app might fall within the cap for NOC 2174. Even if it misses by a whisker, there may be chances that few rejections of applicants after PER might result in your application being considered for the CAP. Am not sure about this but its just a speculation.

Switching isn't accepted but in case if you want to try your luck in submitting a new parallel application for other NOC, it's up to you.
