Hello Friends,

Advice required.

I received PER on 2nd October and i have not yet done my PCC. I am from New delhi and should be getting the request from NDVO.

When does PCC request usually come. Should i start with the process of collecting the PCC, since it might take couple of weeks to get PCC done for my wife as we got married this year and before marriage she used to stay in a different city.

Do we need to get fresh PCC done once we get request from the visa office ?

By grace of the one above, got medical forms and RPRF email today.

Where do I send the passport photocopies : CIC or High Commission at New Delhi?
Payment of RPRF is 490 per adult, can be paid online or do you advise demand draft?
I should just take medical forms to the concerned hospital/agency, and they will forward the results directly? To which address : CIC/High Commission New Delhi?
Do I need to take fresh PCC? Mine is dated 29/April (5.5 months old)?
What else (documents) do I need to send?

Advice of seniors and everyone would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

ok..Here is my question...hope to get your valuable replies

At the time of sending application...I gave 3 FD (fixed deposit certificates) as POF. They were valid till Aug 20, 2014. Although I have received my PER on 21 Aug, Still I am a little worried as now my FDs are matured and I had to make new FDs. New FDs have different number as well.

Please suggest.

Thats not a problem at all...just chill .... the only thing matters is that the funds should be on your name and stay in your account.

Good luck

Yes, they will require PCC, there is a query already above you of an applicant who has been requested fresh PCC, however start the PCC process by Mid November or early december in order for them to be valid to be submitted once asked for!

How old can a PCC be before it will be accepted by VO???

Do I need to take fresh PCC? Mine is dated 29/April (5.5 months old)? Yes, since they are asking for a fresh one.

What else (documents) do I need to send? you should just send those documents which are being asked for.

If you still have doubt then contact them back at delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca I suggest you arranging for fresh PCC and preparing for Medicals ASAP !

Hi Experts,

Is there any way for the file I have already sent across that I can get the NOC changed.

Please let me know in case any one has tried it or done it before.

Thanks,
Bani

As per the SS, no one has received the passport request from NVDO.

Is there someone who has submitted the medicals, PCC and PR fees and waiting for Passport request.

Any idea how much time it takes to receive the passport request after submitting the requested documents.

I have submitted my medicals on 16 Sep and got the 3rd line added in ecas - Your Medicals have been received on 22 Sep 2014. Previously I also sent my PCC to NDVO and paid RPRF online.

I believe NDVO is yet to send out their first PPR (Passport Request).. Lets see who gets lucky first... Although I have little hope that they'll send PPR before Diwali .. i.e. 23 Oct.. nevertheless prayers for everyone are on..!! :-)

Hi SonOfOdin, well PCC expiry is different in every country, Minimum is 3 months and Maximum it's valid for 6 months and in some places for a year. VO mostly takes local PCC expiry tenure in consideration.

Could u please help me getting duties to be included in experience certificate for E-commerce site programmer NOC code 2174. A friend of mine needs it urgently as his file has been returned for CIC is not satisfied with job duties and file as been returned. Please he needs job duties sply from people who has already got PER so to be sure CIC kinda approved those job duties. Please forum help us in this ASAP. His file is ready just need job duties. Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear that :(

But now that your friend's file has been returned, don't you think that it is too late to apply for NOC 2174. It is speculated to get capped by the time august applications will be processed. Any application that your friend sends now will be considered as a new application by CIC.

Thanks for the reply. So if this forum member who is from India has a PCC which is valid for 1 year [which is the case with Indian PCCs issued from passport office] and which was issued approx 5.5 months back, dont you think the applicant can make use of the old PCC itself, if that was not submitted during the time of the application submission?

I seriously doubt NOC can be changed after submission, in new NOC you have to resubmit the whole application+documentations along with a fee. However, you should wait for another opinion.

In case if it was not submitted then,he should submit it now swiftly.
