I just received the MR, PCC, and RPRF request. ;)

NOC 2171
App received: May 22nd

FBI PCC in progress, my main issue is India PCC from Indian Consulate - it will take 5 to 6 weeks and my family is in India for a month (don't have their passports).

Can I request for extension from CIC? Pls help.

Per guidelines:
If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

Do you really need to submit PCC from Indian Consulate for yourself & spouse?

6 6 5 6 Wont get you 23 points. You need to reappear for Ielts. Min requirement is 6 in all modules.. Which will fetch you 16 points which is the least score..

I just checked IDP provides additional TRF at a fees. But they will forward this TRF only to the Organization.
How CIC will be able to relate this TRF with my profile.

What should I mention in the second application for them so that they can related the TRF to my new application

No still waiting... r u also a 9th June applicant??

Both, me and my spouse, were more than 18 years when we came here. So yes!!

You will only receive one copy of your Test Report Form, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in these cases, you can receive two. Proof of application to CIC and UKBA must be provided.

Thats good of IDP then.

BC also provides second copy but, they say they need an acknowledgement from Cic that original is with them.....
I am also fighting to get the 2nd TRF as, I sent the original one with my 1st application on sep11.
Seniors, would be grateful if you can advise on a way to get an acknowledgement frm CIC that my original TRF is with them.

Regards
Jamie

Nitin, I have got the second TRF from IDP...
go to IDP centre and tell them that you have to apply for Canada PR and need an additional TRF...
They will ask you to fill up a form and take a copy of your passport...
Deposit Rs 250 for simple mail (you will receive it in 15 days) or Rs 1250 for courier (you will receive it in 3 to 4 days) ......
thats it bro.....

When you and your spouse both in India for initial 18 years, then you need not submit PCC for India. That's what I understood from the guidelines, please correct me if my understanding is incorrect.

Hi to all,

I have a question my husband main applicant for NOC 4011 got a 5.5 score on his writing on the IELTS exam.
Speaking 7.0
Writing 5.5
Reading 6.0
Listening 6.5

I feel really sad because I know that automatically makes him not eligible to apply. The next exam here in my country is on the 6th of December they give us the result 17 days after exam. We would have the new IELTS report which he will hopefully pass this time on December 23 if there are no delays. Do you guys think we still have a chance or will our application get returned and fall on the Express Entry program Sad

May be you are right, but I don't feel like challenging CIC. They specifically requested Indian PCC for me and spouse, so will have to suffice.

Dear Diplomatru,

Thank you for sharing this. While IDP is very understanding and will give you a second TRF just by showing a copy of application form that is being sent to CIC, BC is very stubborn. They say they need an acknowledgement from CIC that they have receipt the original TRF. As you know that CIC will take lot of time to revert back to such queries, the person who has written the exam from BC is bound to be doomed. They are just disgusting lot.......
