hi all,

i applied for CES on 13th Aug. my category is 2172 (Database analysts and data administrators). so far 65 applications have been counted towards the 1,000 sub-cap.

what are my chances if i apply after one/two week of receipt of my CES result (probably end of Oct or start of Nov)?

considering current gap in application receipt and start of processing being more than three months - if i apply by end of Oct or start of Nov, it will be Jan or Feb when my turn of application processing initiation will come. by that time, new rules will be already out. what do they do in such situations? do they send the application envelope back or process it as it was received within previous rules time frame (Oct-Nov)

should i give it a try this time or wait for Jan?

if you suggest i wait and apply in Jan, what are the chances of my category being there in express entry?

I think, for other detail, you put PA's detail. Also add a cover letter to describe why your spouse's name is there.

I am really worried... i recieved PER on Sept 8 and my visa office is NDVO, NOC=2281, Application received= 7th May

Plz tell me how much time it takes to get MR? If it takes long time, then it means it is going for rejection process...
I think some applicant after 7th may applicant also get MR? Does visa office select randomly?
Give suggestion.....

Buddy, am pretty sure you will get it. There are lot many people who are in similar boat just as you are. In fact, I would suggest you to try updating your skills and try to understand the labour market and the type of skills it would be required there in your NOC rather than fretting on MR. This would keep your mind away from fretting out and ofcourse, would help you in landing a desired job.

Currently CIO is charging apps received on 16th of June this year and they have issued PER to apps received on 12th of June this year so the gap between the apps received and PER issued by the date is fairly small, this indicates that the CAP figures are fairly accurate to the date on which applications that are charged!

CIC is checking for the file completness.24th june applicants are rejected due to incomplete set of documentation.
