Very Happy to share with this wonderful forum that I just received PER!!!

App received : 5th June
CC Charged : 23rd June
PER : 2nd Oct [9:17 IST]

Case where CC was lost and new CC was charged. BC for spouse not sent [sent hospital acknowledgement of birth instead]. Sent translated BC again which reached CIC a couple of days ago.

Thanks a lot for all the support so far. Wishing everyone the best of luck with their apps. Looking forward for further stages of the process...

Are you sure that your CC is charged on June 23. It should be on Sep 23. Correct me if I am wrong.

6 in each section is the minimum no matter if you have a job offer or not. The good thing is, with a job offer you are not subject to the cap, so that is a relief for you in 2174.

Yes bro, these days they dont accept Embassy cert...How long would it take to get her BC from India, if it is getting long time to get processed, get the existing one translated and prepare an affidavit from a Lawyer saying the name is not provided on the BC and the BC is your sister's......Her original BC, Translated, Affidavit put together can serve as BC proof.......

There are many Notaries in Singapore, Even i got an Affidavit for Spelling correction on the BC...I heard and hope it works...

Job offer doesnt matter for FSWP. Is it a full time permanent job offer? And what permit are u on currently in canada?

Is the job LMO(Labour market opinion) or LMIO based?

Sure it does. It's worth 10 points toward the pass mark and means that the applicant is not subject to the NOC cap.

Well the journey has been nice so far...The only mistake I did in Canada was I landed in Toronto.. I am oil & gas professional... I should have landed in Alberta...

But I have some relatives in Brampton so I thought it would be good for me... but no, when it comes to finding jobs I believe ALBERTA is the place for all oil & gas professionals.. Toronto is overcrowded and is good for IT professionals...There is too much of talent already in Toronto market. Brampton is "PUNJAB DAA PIND". There use to be days where in I couldn't see a single GORA .. ONLY PUNJABIS...

Fortunately, I am in Calgary right now working with an oil & gas company. The journey is all about learning and sharing best practices... Please prepare for an initial struggle for couple of months... please stay away from those people who will say that you will not find a job in your industry....

Just remember try and try.. there is no way you want to go back.. YOU HAVE INVESTED TIME, MONEY in this.... MAKE IT WORK....

My consultant is making the arrangements for the job offer n yes it's full time job that he is arranging for..

This is strange. Is it a legitimate job offer or one arranged just for your immigration application? Why is a consultant arranging a job offer for you?

I meant CIO, because VOs are generally very fast in processing CSEs. But I guess we can do both. I also concur with the query field (addendum, app. status, etc.).

I am not an IT guy though and as much as I would like to implement it I lack the necessary skills. And Dmytrich won't do it I guess, since he's road to immigration is open now. Any ideas who will receive our +1s for a job well done?)))
