Praiseee the Lord, I just got PER.


I submitted two applications for 2 different NOCs (1111 and 0111) as my job duties matched both.
NOC 1111 sent 02/06/2014, received 06/06/2014 LVO, DD cashed on 25/09/2014

NOC 0111 sent 09/06/2014 received 13/06/2014 Accra VO, CC charged 25/09/2014

I got PER for both at the same time.

This is my first post in this forum but i am a regular visitor and i always read all the post...

I am worried these days so please help me and give some information

My FSW 2014 Details are:

NOC : 2281 (Computer Network Technician)

App Rec: May 7, 2014

Visa Office: New Delhi

PER Rec: September 8, 2014

And till now i did not get Medical Request.

Can anyone tell, how much time it takes to get medical request? Does anybody get Medical Request after that date?

MR is not as linear as CIC reviews, there are lots of us still waiting. I am also 7th May and have not heard anything about MR/PCC.

Also, no matter which of the three groups (NOC, arranged employment or PHD), you apply under, you must:

include the results of your official language test showing that you meet the minimum language threshold (Canadian Language Benchmark 7) in all four language skill areas (speaking, listening, reading and writing) when you apply

The current application cycle for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), which opened in May, 2014, will finish at the end of this year. With just three months remaining in 2014, potential candidates have a limited window of opportunity to apply for this program. Successful applicants will gain Canadian permanent residence.
What is the Federal Skilled Worker Program?

The FSWP assesses candidates based on their human capital — that is to say, their ability to become economically established upon immigration to Canada — using a points-based system. Applicants must score at least 67 points based on the criteria set by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

The current FSWP determines that 50 occupations are in demand in Canada, and candidates must have at least one year of work experience in the past 10 years in one of 50 eligible occupations. A total of 25,000 applications will be accepted for processing under the current FSWP, with a cap of 1,000 per eligible occupation. In addition to the fact that there is a limited time period left in which to make an application, candidates should also be aware that some of the occupation caps are close to reaching their limit.

Under the current Federal Skilled Worker Program, an eligible applicant applies knowing with a degree of certainty that he or she will be able to immigrate, so long as he or she is not criminally inadmissible, doesn't have major health problems, and works in an occupation that has not yet reached its cap. We are now entering the final three months in which the Government of Canada will be accepting applications under the FSWP in its present form.

How do candidates determine their eligibility for the current FSWP?

The first step in the entire process is to determine one's eligibility for the program. Candidates need to know whether or not meet the eligibility criteria to make an application. If a candidate is eligible to apply, he or she should begin their Educational Credential Assessment immediately and sit the IELTS exam. No one is exempt from the requirement for language testing, regardless of their country of origin or education.

“Candidates still have time, but they need to move fast. In practical terms, they need to determine their eligibility today and, if they are eligible, they need to start the process almost immediately,” says Attorney David Cohen. “Candidates who fulfil the criteria of the current Federal Skilled Worker Program should apply now, knowing with a degree of certainty that they will be able to immigrate to Canada.”

After December 31, 2014, the current rules and procedures for the FSWP will no longer be in place.

What comes after the FSWP?

As of January 1, 2015, candidates will no longer apply directly to the FSWP. From that date, Canada will transition to a new expression of interest immigration selection system called ‘Express Entry'.

Under Express Entry, the federal government and provincial governments, as well as Canadian employers, will be able to select potential immigrants from a pool of candidates who have declared an expression of interest in immigrating to Canada and who meet the eligibility criteria for at least one of Canada's economic immigration programs:

Well the journey has been nice so far...The only mistake I did in Canada was I landed in Toronto.. I am oil & gas professional... I should have landed in Alberta...

But I have some relatives in Brampton so I thought it would be good for me... but no, when it comes to finding jobs I believe ALBERTA is the place for all oil & gas professionals.. Toronto is overcrowded and is good for IT professionals...There is too much of talent already in Toronto market. Brampton is "PUNJAB DAA PIND". There use to be days where in I couldn't see a single GORA .. ONLY PUNJABIS...

Fortunately, I am in Calgary right now working with an oil & gas company. The journey is all about learning and sharing best practices... Please prepare for an initial struggle for couple of months... please stay away from those people who will say that you will not find a job in your industry....

Just remember try and try.. there is no way you want to go back.. YOU HAVE INVESTED TIME, MONEY in this.... MAKE IT WORK....

Nice to hear that you are settled and appreciate your attitude ... Love the way you described Brampton as 'PUNJAB DAA PIND'.... I have mentioned Calgary as my destination city by based on your inputs i feel Toronto would have been a better choice since me and my husband are both IT Professionals...

Hello,

After almost months of doc collection (Yes Medical Council of Canada took forever for ECA report), we have sent our application today. NOC 3112 is relatively cold so far so we should be fine I guess. We can only hope now that we didn't overlook something important/mandatory. Thanks to forum for the support and Good Luck everybody. Any idea when we can expect to hear about DD charge?

CC Charged : 23rd Sept
PER : 2nd Oct [9:17 IST]

Case where CC was lost and new CC was charged. BC for spouse not sent [sent hospital acknowledgement of birth instead]. Sent translated BC again which reached CIC a couple of days ago.

hey buddy, if we have an offer from any company in canada, we don't need to be under the cap but there are other implications too.. can anyone explain those... m already in toronto & looking for a perm job.... m under 2174 and know that i won't make it since m an Aug applicant... so lloking at the job offer option...

I've got a lot of -1s today from certain people for saying that FSWP14 will continue till April 30th 2015.

But that's fine. I will still continue to help the group and say what is right, and rest assured, I won't give -1 to anyone.
