I think i read somewhere that the applications will be accepted till May 2015 if the cap lasts. Isn't this the case?

That is correct, and whoever wrote that article doesn't understand the Ministerial Instruction.

This doesn't mean that CIC will completely stop working for FSW apps by Dec 2014.
PPL who already had applied before Dec 31st 2014, will be under FSW till April 2015.

News looks scary but, With the positive side this is derived.

This is ALSO not true.

FSW is open until April 30, 2015. Anyone who submits a complete application on or before that date will be processed in the way we are familiar with FSW applications currently being processed, no matter how long it takes. This will remain true until a contrary Ministerial Instruction is posted.

Hey, guys. My docs were received on June 12. But the fee was still not yet charged till now. Does that mean mine will be refused or still some chances existing? If my docs will be returned, how can I know it before I got the returned package, an email will be sent to me by CIO?
I found an typo in my app, I typed 0013 in question 12a of IMM0008 but it should be 0113. All other NOC numbers were correctly typed. This type can cause reject?

it is not guaranteed that 2173 will be available at the time your apply. But it's worth trying, so good luck.

Yes, not a bad idea. By CIO, do you mean CIO or VO or both? Also in the format, you can add Query.

I also think, rather than adding with the current spreadsheet, it can be independent spreadsheet as the number of fields for current spreadsheet are too many.

The format could be something like this.

Name - Date sent - time elapsed - date CIO replied - comments

My sister package was returned on 24 Sep, her rejection letter dated 12 Sep (Birth certificate was not accepted). Her application was received on 13 June... considering this... I think for you NO NEWS IS A GOOD NEWS...

Yaar I just feel drained since I had applied last year and the cap was closed .....applied this year and they said cheque is stale dated I just feel it's probably not for me

Just issue a new DD and resend the application. You already have all the other documents. Third time lucky they say....
