Ravi, How about it - CIC delay the launch of Express Entry due to the backlog?

For the sake of argument, you can continue it forever. Let's not create any confusion on what CIC (in fact the Ministerial Instruction) declared. Cicnews can be true; to get more application, it also could play a trick. So, let us not make any speculation and let's settle with official information for the period.

That's right. No need to make get too excited. Lets wait 3 more months and see what happens.

If he's done the Medical examination and payed the RPRF upon request he's hundreed percent sure to receive PR.

Decision made is definitely.. PR approved...:-) Congrats... I haven't seen any case in the past when PR was not granted after medicals or Police Clearance Certificate. Unless or until there was any issue with medical or police clearance.. PR has definitely been granted.

Hi seniors,

I am new to this member. I have one question.. I want to know If I can add my parents as dependent in my application.

Further, is it possible that I apply as principal applicant and my husband is not included in the application as an accompanying dependent.

Thanks for the help.

So you'd rather live with your parents than your husband huh?

Unfortunately you can't add your parents, but you could sponsor them after becoming a PR yourself.

You can list your husband as non-accompanying, but you still must provide all the required information, forms and documents from the document checklist. You must explain why he will be non-accompanying. You cannot claim any adaptability points for a non-accompanying spouse's education, language skill or Canadian work experience. You must still prove settlement funds for him as well. You could sponsor your husband later if you wish, but that is a separate process. Failure to provide accurate and complete information about your husband in your application, whether he is accompanying you or not, is grounds for rejection and a ban from Canada.

I wanted to confirm a few details to make sure everything get's done correctly:

Photocopied documents - Signed by a Public Notary
Original Translated documents - Only signed by Legal Translator (Correct? or Public Notary has to sign also)
Only original documents to be send are PCC, IELTS Report and WES report.

I have a question which is worrying me, for proof of funds I am going to show a bank certificate for $21,971 CAD (family of 4), but I have no previous bank statements of this money because my father is giving me this money as a gift and will give it to me 3 weeks prior to application being send, will this affect my application, could I creat suspicion with this and get rejected? Should I send an notarized letter from my father attesting its a gift and doesn't have to be returned or do I wait to see if in future they ask.

Thanks!!!

Notarize the photocopy of the original documents+ Notarize the translation documents translated by certified translator.

send an notarized letter from your father attesting its a gift and doesn't have to be returned. And don't use that fund till you get Visa.

Hello I need some help regarding Proof of Funds. Can I show the required amount of funds in 2 accounts? Like for making 17000 CAD, is it ok if I show 9000 in one account and 8000 CAD in second account? One account is in my name and one a combined account of me and my spouse? Any chance that would negatively impact my application?

Regarding Medical need expert advices: If a person is suffering from Diabetese (not on insulin only using medicines) then will this afftect his Medical result and CIC will take any negative decision due to this? Secondly during Medical if that person diabetic is controlled should he still inform the doctor about this issue? Please reply as my friend is going to appear in medical and he is suffering from it and he plans to hide it from doctor....

It must be disclosed. If it is not disclosed and it is discovered later, his PR could be revoked even after landing and obtaining his PR card and he could be ordered to leave Canada. Is it worth the risk?

It is possible it will affect the application, if the annual cost to treat it exceeds the Canada's per capita health care spending, which is a number published yearly. If it appears that the cost will be excessive, your friend will be informed of this and will have a chance to reply and make his case to the VO.

I have submitted my wife's birth certificate which is printed in both english as well as my native language.Does it still need to translated?

No, as long as all the essential information appears in English.
