Totally agreed CanOl bro +1 for this suggestion, I am making it 111.

111 is Nelson, which is considered unlucky..

But coming from a helpful member like you, it only has to be LUCKY and POSITIVE...:)

+1 to you as well. Karma has allowed :).

Century,

I have a suggestion for SS development. How about implementing CIO query processing time?

The format could be something like this.

Name - Date sent - time elapsed - date CIO replied - comments

Kindly share your thoughts about it.

It's my first time on this forum. My application under NOC 2171 was received by CIC yesterday (1st Oct, 2014). Hoping for the best but after reading posts about folks who applied in June getting their file numbers only now, getting worried that I might not be one of the lucky ones :(
No need to worry. Yes folks applied in first/second week of june are currently getting their PERs/Charged, you can refer the Spread Sheet for estimated time of CC/DD charge. You should be inside the cap, given the estimates and trend.
Just wait & watch... You should be ok.

April 30, 2015 is the deadline

Need a suggestion:
I have taken then dd from a Canada bank itself rather than taking from India bank.
Will that be good to encash it faster ?

This programme was announced from 1st May 2014 and 30th April 2015 is the last date under this programme.

I know there has been a lot of discussions about this. Just a messenger. Refrain from giving -1.

The current application cycle for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), which opened in May, 2014, will finish at the end of this year. With just three months remaining in 2014, potential candidates have a limited window of opportunity to apply for this program. Successful applicants will gain Canadian permanent residence.

i think the funds should also be deposited into Canadian bank i.e Scotia bank ...they have branch in new delhi

it will provide easy access to money in Canada...

what are your views on this......

The exchange rate changes constantly. Hence, you won't hear to replies with equal amount charged unless your CC is in CAD.
