Help please! CIC tried to charge my CC yesterday (Sept. 30th) and my bank blocked the charge. Will they try to charge it again? I've told my bank to allow the charge to go thru.

yo kuskus ... nothing to worry .... CIC will attempt the charge 3 times ... generally at a gap ofr 2-3 working days ...... so don't worry .. sit back and wait for that golden sms .... !

Dear Friends, I could not contain the happiness that I'm feeling right now. Thank you so much guys for helping me out while I was just starting my application.

Just this morning I received my PER.

NOC: 2174
Application Received: 5 June
DD Encashment: 22 Sept
PER Received: 01 Oct 11.15AM CAD Time

Goodluck to those who are still waiting for their PER/MR and congrats to those wo have also received.

Hii All,

Name in Passport and other certificates - Muddasir Ahmed
Name in Birth Certicate - Mudassir Ahmed.

I sent a cover letter along with my application explaining this, is it a big issue? I assumed this as a small misspelled case. Only today i read somewhere that a notarized affidavit should be send if there is any differences of name in birth certificate and other documents. . Getting nervous now!!! Should i now send notarized affidavit separately, will they accept it. I only submitted my application few days before. SENIORS PLEASE HELP

DD Clearance Idea

Hello,

I seen 5 june's DD encashed on 21-23 Sep. and 6 june are 24-25 Sep.

if it follows..

9 june's DD may be encashed on 26-29 sep

10th june -------------------- 30 to 1st oct

11june --------------------- 3-4 oct...

Probably I am asking something which was asked in the past, however just need the days.
Unfortunately it is not there for NDVO post MR. (Request for an estimate)

If every thing falls in place. Post we apply, how many days would it need for

1 - CC / DD to get charged

2 - From CC / DD charged to get PER

3 - Post PER to get AOR (if we get one)

4 - Then to get MR

5 - MR to get Passport request

6 - Passport request to Visa Stamping

Question 1 and 2 : Depends upon VIO-CIC working speed.
Question 3 to 5 : It is vary for each country.

Mabuhay! I just received my PER just now. I mailed my application on june 6, dd encashed on sept 25, PER received oct 1. I have a question though.. I am 5 mos pregnant ang im wondering when and where will i nform "them" about my situation. And if i can include my baby in my existing application. And if i can ask them to delay my medical request because i may need more than a year to prepare my newborn baby. Please help. Thankyou

First and foremost congrats for both your baby and getting PER 8) 8) 8)
Well coming to this question, my friend who had applied for FSW last year had a similar case where his wife was pregnant....
But it is based on case to case
There are 2 possibilities depending upon where you are currently in pregnancy

1) Go through the FSW process and land in Canada and have the new born in Canada

2) Have your newborn in your native country and apply him as a dependant, which is little tricky because you have to go through the process all over again (in Family sponsorship PR)

My Friend opted for the first option and had the baby in Canada, But your decision should be based on your own factors (medical, personal, family and other stuff), But my suggestion is, once you recieve your PER, contact the VO and provide him the information and he would probably give a better answer
