Hello members,

can anyone guide me here...

I have invested all my amount in National Saving Certificates Pakistan called (Defense Saving Certificate) up to 10k CAD and in my bank account no good balance in there only Payroll Deposit for every month will put in there. My question are as followings:

1- Is National Saving Certificate accepted by CIC as POF?

2- I m applying as Principal Applicant with my Spouse in FSW 2014 so i need to required show POF 14,720 CAD$. So i required to arrange additional 5K CAD, can i deposit small amount like around (20K PKR equivalent to 220 CAD) in week are these weekly transaction bother CIC Staff or will it raised alarm?

National Savings certificates generally mature at 5 years, effectively it is locked for 5 years and cannot be used as POF.

I called icici bank. But bank says they cant confirm about the DD.

Don't rely on them. Even my bank was telling me DD still not encashed. But yesterday only I got PER. So just focus on PER email dear.

guyz need help..!!! i am 27th june applicant. i have given my birth certificate. my dad got divorced and in my birth certificate my mother name is different and in my all certificates mother name is different. also, my husband doesnt have birth certificate but have attached affidavit regarding BC. i am worried now that my application would be rejected or not.

Have you provided the cover letter?
The ideal way is to provide cover letter and mentioned all the above described things in detail for VO to get better clarity on it.

I am applying under NOC 2172: Database Analysts and Database Administrator. Can you give me an idea of my changes to get through in FSW 2014 list itself. I expect the application to reach them by 2nd week of Nov. I know I might be late but an honest reply considering my NOC code will be of great help here. Smiley

1- National Saving Certificates can be used as proof of funds if they are unencumbered (you have not taken any loan against those NSS). you can get premature encashment but they charge certain percentage.

2- You have to give proof of CAD 14,720 on your disposal at the time of filling your application so anything below this can cause a problem. CIC won't mind any subsequent transactions as long as you above the threshold level of CAD 14,720.

now you are saying that your application is returned ? due to not submitting original BC ?

can you please share the rejection letter so it can be cleared ?

As far as I understand your consultants submitted the translation without including the copy of the original BC. And it resulted in a rejection. This situation has nothing to do with new regulations (as there none to be found), it's just the consultants being idiots who cannot read through the checklist.

You have full chances, even if your application reaches in December, its very cold NOC. However once 2173 2174 gets full people might shift to 2172. As of now, you are completely good to go.

my question is that i have been receiving salary in CASH but i have sent all pay slips with revenue stamp and company stamp on them..is that ok with cic or they prefer salary being directly sent to bank account??

PER received on 2nd October , 00.14 am , Indian standard time


( was just chit chatting with special forumites over watsapp group and got PER email)
