Dear Friends, I could not contain the happiness that I'm feeling right now. Thank you so much guys for helping me out while I was just starting my application.

Just this morning I received my PER.

NOC: 2174
Application Received: 5 June
DD Encashment: 22 Sept
PER Received: 01 Oct 11.15AM CAD Time

Goodluck to those who are still waiting for their PER/MR and congrats to those wo have also received.

( everyone my NOC is 3142, I have my ielts 2nd oct.. eca sent not received yet will I be able to make it if I send application by Nov mid?
today it is 190 approx. cap status )

It is advisable to send application immediately on receiving ECA report and IELTS score card. Meanwhile Keep other papers ready. Why your ECA too late? However you need not to worry. I hope you will within the cap. GOOD LUCK.

Please friends, I know it may be a silly question, but i need your help:

In the document checklist it is written that documents should be left unbound, but only photos and certified cheques should be attached by paper clips. Does that mean that even the different pages of each individual form should not be bound together?

I have very bad experience with ICAS.They took almost 4 months for my ECA report. Their response was not up to the mark. Even, they sent my report by normal mail though I paid them for courier.

Just stay away from ICAS.

My application was returned due to not submitting my birth certificate in local language (original language) this is supposedly a new regulation according to my agent. They have now resubmitted the application once again with the birth certificates.

Anyone else faced the same situation by any chance ? please let me know how it was resolved. Also when new regulations come does CIC keep returning the application . Cant they just request the new forms or documents required only ? PLEASE ADVICE !

On this Supplementary Information Form , I am confused with Question 5, 6 & 7?

Question 5: What is your profession and specialization (if any)?

Question 6id you serve in any militia, army, defence or police unit? My Answer will be "NO"

But then they says:

Question 7:If your answer to 6 was No, why did you not have to serve in any armed force?????????????????????????????

Really confusing Question.



Then on "IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORM".....

As far as I understand your consultants submitted the translation without including the copy of the original BC. And it resulted in a rejection. This situation has nothing to do with new regulations (as there none to be found), it's just the consultants being idiots who cannot read through the checklist.

Looks like your agent is not dealing very honestly with you. There are no new regulations here. The rules are well known. If your BC or any other document is a translated copy, then you must include the original copy as well as a translation affidavit. Was this the case with you?
