Dear Goku,

Your replies much appreciated.

Question 5: What is your profession and specialization (if any)? By that it mean if you hold any designation such as CA, DR, etc. if you don't then just write "None"

My Job Title is Software Programmer, so in the above question's Answer do I need to Write "Software Programmer" as profession and specialization? ????
Specialization is not related to your job title it depends on your qualifications. Many people opt for MBA or MCA after getting some experience in IT field. I am not sure what qualifications do you hold. Please also consider what other have to say about this.
Then,,,

Question 7:If your answer to 6 was No, why did you not have to serve in any armed force????
In some countries you by law have to join armed forces. If in your country it is not mandatory then Just mention the reason that in your country it is upto every individual whether they want to join armed forces or not. You don't have to write too descriptive explanation for that just a brief explanation will do. Even if you want to write a descriptive explanation its ok. That's your call.

Still confused on this question, I know that its upto individual as but in other words this answer means I was not interested in joining armed forces can I get more suggestions on this question please.
You are mixing it with another question. What they are asking is "why did you not have to serve in any armed force?". A simple answer to that can be as follows:
1 - In some countries you by law have to join armed forces: if country in which you are living is one of them, and if you were not part of armed force then I am not sure what to write but,
2- If in your country it is not mandatory then Just mention the reason that in your country there is no such law that you have to be part of armed forces in other words it is up to every individual whether they want to join armed forces or not.

Just let us know which option applies to you so that we can guide you in that direction

Thank you in advance.

Other Senior members please advise as well.

I'm applying for 0111 and my application is due mid November, cannot apply before that as I have my IELTS exam on Oct 18th and ECA in process.

My question is, will i be able to make it to cap for 0111 (132)???? if I apply by November?

Any suggestions?

I think you will fall within the NOC cap. The other question is falling within the 25000 overall cap, which based on how we are moving, you might make it just the same. :D
Think you should go for it. The Express system i think might be harder, as you are going to be competing with other people for jobs, to get an entry. Not sure if i like that system.

Dear Forum Members,
I frequently visit this site but I've never really commented/shared my views. It is very informative and provides a basis to judge how CIC assess each applicant, sometimes it seems as though the treatment is inconsistent but maybe forum members don't disclose everything so we don't get to see the entire picture (fully understand why though).

Anyways, as my charge date is getting closer I am becoming more worried. When I sent my package there were a lot of backup documents, it weighed just below the allowable envelope limit for Fedex. I even sent letters explaining why I sent some of the backups (crazy me, just like to be extra safe). Based on your experiences, do you think CIC will negatively assess a package because there is too much supporting documents? I mean even though I tried sticking to the check list I still sent a lot pertaining to it. For example, for my education I sent the WES report and all my education certificates (even the ones that were not assessed by WES). Will this be a problem? My noc is 1212, not that HOT!

Although it's not recommended to flood your application with non-required supporting documents but I never heard negative assessment because of additional documents... You shouldn't worry. Given the fact that it's not a hot NOC, you should be comfortable....

Enjoy!!!

I paid my RFR fees online through my credit card.
In that email it also says that I must need to send my receipt to CPC-o.

My question is: Should I send them through e-mail or should my mail them my receipt ?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello Chris101,

It's quiet natural that your tension is increasing against the eventual review. Take it easy. Having had some experience with public service, I would say that all files are unique, and sometimes an additional document can make a big difference, so I find nothing wrong with going beyond the checklist if you think that it may render the work of the adjudicator easier.

Given the estimates, you should be in the cap, but I would suggest you to start preparing your application and as soon as you receive IELTS/ECA, you should file your application. In the meantime you can collect your work exp letters etc. hope it helps.
