Hi All,
I have a question. This forum is fantastic. I have been silent reader of this forum for months.
Although have a question now: I submitted my application on June 24 and yesterday I received my application back due to the missing birth certificate. (thats it)
However, in my initial application I included the bonafide certificate, secondary school certificate indicating my date of birth.

However I managed to find the copy of my birth certificate and school leaving certificate. I resend my application today. Hopefully they will consider this.
I checked all my application forms, there was a UCI number noted in my application.
I am an NOC 2171 category. Will I be considered back to the June applicants or I will be considered again from the date my application will reach cic this coming friday?

Please help!!!

Sorry, pardon my ignorance if I didnt get you right. Are you saying one needs to pay for the visa fee of spouse and children even if they are not accompanying? Or are you saying that we have to pay for whenever they are coming to Canada.

You don't have to pay an application fee or visa fee for non-accompanying spouses and children. But if you decide to sponsor them later, you will need to pay an application fee for that application and eventually a visa fee. I don't know how much those fees are.

Also, even for non-accompanying spouses, you must provide full information, including PCCs and birth certificate and etc. I am assuming that to sponsor them later on one would have to send roughly the same information, but it would need to be updated, and so you'd have to pay to obtain PCCs and etc. again. So if the goal is saving money I don't think in the long run it saves money for dependants not to accompany the principal applicant. There should be a good reason for them not to accompany. But everyone is free to do as they like...

You don't need to include envelopes, only labels. And forgetting them is not a fatal error, don't worry.

He will have to start from scratch as his file is closed. And since 2174 is done, he is either to wait for EE launch or apply under different NOC.

I would suggest try some other NOCs..may be 2172 if that matches. I guess its too late for 2174.
