Dear friends.

Today the amount of 1100 CAD was redraw from my account. What does this mean now ? That the file is ok and is checked, or now they will start checking and they can still send it back if there are documents missing.

Thank you all for the help provided during the process. It was my pleasure to provide information also when i could help :)

Hi Seniors,

Need your advise. I just realized that I have missed putting in my name in 'Native Language' in the Background declaration form (point #2). I think I have left that field blank. Is that a serious error to think about? Should I resend that particular updated form to CIC?

Please advise.

Thanks!

No ways, This is not a big error. You are fine. Do not Panic or Worry! Good Luck!

Any holidays at CIO, Sydney for this week or next week?

You can apply but I'm afraid your 2174 experience of 4.2 years will be discarded. CIC clearly mentioned in selection criteria that you should be working since past one year under the NOC you are going to apply for. That means you can claim only 1.8 years of 2172 but not 4.2 years of 2174, as 2172 is before 2174. I hope you get it

Wrong, it will be full 6 years credit and the 1 year minimum in the primary NOC can be any time in the past 10 years. -1 for posting dangerously incorrect information.

Hey Guys

I am may 26th applicant. Received my PER on September 18th, Any Idea when can I get a response from the VO.

May be New Delhi

Maybe? Are you not sure? Please refer to the spread sheet for average processing times for each visa office.

First of all Congratulations on receiving PER, it is like 50% of process is completed. Now, your application will be sent to the Visa Office you have selected on your application form. Processing times varies for different VOs. You may or may not get an Acknowledgement e-mail about your application being received at VO. You should expect to receive a Medical Request, PCC (if not sent with original application) and Right to Permanent Residence Fee request. Again, processing times may vary. Good Luck!!

Thanks, just as a rough guide, how many months we are looking at as I am not planning to move any time soon.

Rgds

we are the family of 3. i want to apply for FSW - 2281 occupation.

i want to apply as a principal application only.

i will not included my spouse, child in my application in initial stage.

once i get my application charged by CIC Canada i will apply for my spouse and child

will it be ok.......................

what are the forms that i need to submit later once my application get approved

waiting for your response

You must include your wife and child on your application, but you can specify that they are non-accompanying. It doesn't save you any time or paperwork as you still must provide full details and documents about all of them. If you don't include your wife and child on your application you can NEVER sponsor them to come to Canada. Be warned!

If you list them as non-accompanying, they won't get visas and after you land and become a PR you can sponsor them later. It's easier to just list them as accompanying and bring them with you, but if you have a good reason why you don't want to (and you must explain to CIC why), then go ahead.

I don't understand "once I get my application charged I will apply for my wife and child." One way or the other you have to pay for them, you can't avoid paying by listing them as non-accompanying and bringing them later.

Also note that whether your wife and child accompany you or not, you must prove sufficient settlement funds for all 3 of you.

Good luck.

Congrats to everyone who got the PER.

I'd like to know what to expect next. Is it a medical request? My VO was supposed to be Cairo, but by the looks of it, it's not operating any more. So my question is: where will my application be processed and how long will it take if it's from cpc-o? Also, is it safe to say that by receiving the PER I've accomplished a big part of the application?

Thanks a lot guys! This forum is outstanding.

Good Luck!!!
