Received PER about 10 minutes back.

Payment mode was DD (HDFC). As per the email payment date is 23 Sep, 2014. I suppose bank would reply back with the actual date on which DD was drawn, 25-26 Sep.

Cheers! 8)

congrats

Dear friends.

Today the amount of 1100 CAD was redraw from my account. What does this mean now ? That the file is ok and is checked, or now they will start checking and they can still send it back if there are documents missing.

Thank you all for the help provided during the process. It was my pleasure to provide information also when i could help :)

Hello senior members,

I'm quite disappointed and frustrated. I've been patiently waiting from last 10 days or so... My application reached CIC on 6th June. I've been waiting for my CC charge... which hasn't charged yet. Haven't received any email from CIC etc, why has my CC not charged yet? What could be happening in this case?

Dear we can understand your feelings but waiting patiently is the key here. Cio still working on june applications.
Stay positive...... good luck

Thanks for the response! But honestly this anxiety is getting worse day by day and especially looking at the forum where 12th June applications have also got CC charged.

BTW, in the worst case where the application is returned, does CIC send email immediately or its postal mail with document package Sad

It would be the worst thing to happen, but was curious to know.

Dear friend,

I got my CC charged today. My application was sent in the 1 st of June and arrived there in the 3'rd.

This means that you should have a little bit more pacience because your turn will come.

Best of luck,

There have been numerous discussions on this question on this forum. Some are of the opinion that the CAP numbers are based on completness check which others believe they are based on PER (As an app could be rejected after CC Charge and may not go towards the CAP). However, there is no sure shot way of confirming this.

I feel its based on the completeness check and not PER ..

Hi Seniors,

Need your advise. I just realized that I have missed putting in my name in 'Native Language' in the Background declaration form (point #2). I think I have left that field blank. Is that a serious error to think about? Should I resend that particular updated form to CIC?

Please advise.

Thanks!
