hey guys,

NEED HELP!!!

I had applied for FSW 2014 from india for me, my wife and our daughter. I have a big doubt or question you may say.

I am getting a job offer from Saudi Arabia and wanted to know, if i take up the offer what will happen?
I have received my PER and most probably my file will be transferred to NDVO and recieve my medical request in 45 days time.

I will go to Saudi Arabia (if i take up the offer) by december.

What will happen to my file? How will they process it as my wife and daughter will be in India and I will be in Saudi Arabia? Will they Split our file?

Please don't mind my multiple questions.

It is to be understood that, candidate has the choice to make his career as he wish. CIC will never mind it. If you want to go by December than surly you will get the MR request. However after this you have to choice. (1) Inform NDVO that you went to Saudi and request to change the VO. In this case your PR might be delayed.
(2) You go there and when you ask for the passport request, come back to India and submit it. In this case you are not allowed to go back to Saudi.
So according to me its upto your priority... Saudi or Canada PR....

Dear friends,
I am completing my application to reapply, where I need your help.

I spent 4 years on studying for a master's degree, but I haven't finished it yet.

Question 1:
In Generic application (IMM0008ENU_2D), Section 2 in page 3 requires completing "No. of years education in total". Should I count the years I spent on doing this degree?

Question 2:
In Schedule A application, Section 7 asks for classifying the successfully completed years. Shall I consider my four years in the "Trade school or other post secondary school"?

Please advise.

it takes 48 hrs dude to reach cic as the medical institute sends it electronically and ECAS status mine got updated in 2 days so really not sure of the timeline.. Hope this helps...
48 hrs after Medical send electronically? My clinic said that they send medical on Friday 26th,Sep but as of now noting showing-up in ECAS..

Hello Everyone . kindly help
I have got a question regarding the "time between acceptance as complete file and DD cashing.."
when the CIC updates the CAP as complete file on website do they mean they are going to give PER verysoon i.e, within 1 or 2 weeks OR they keep the file with them for other people of the CIC office to cash the CC or DD as per the sequence for 2 months and then they give PER.

Does CIC means they have cashed DD and CC or planning to give PER to those many people.??

Dear srvmh, +1 for the info given.
I have a query here, u said - "In this case you are not allowed to go back to Saudi"

What this imply? How long VO keeps the passport with them?

Firstly be aware that, for choosing Visa office other than the one of your nationality (NDVO in your case) you need to be physically residing in that country for one complete year or above. In any case your visa office will be NDVO. If you accept the offer, you just need to inform this to CIC or NDVO if by that time they get your file. Just relax, take up the offer, as this will in no way affect your application.

Friends,

This might be useful peice of information to you all. I had raised a CSE to NDVO on Sep23 asking if they need USA PCC for me since i did not stay in US for 6 months continously out of 10 months of my stay on H1B. I also asked them incase they require, if they will provide me an extention to submit the PCC since FBI has now made the processing to 10-12 weeks. I received a response from them today and they asked me to submit the PCC and gave 12 weeks of time to submit the same. They also mentioned that i should submit the other docs like India PCC,RPRF and medical within the given timeline. Below is the response i received from them:

Dear Applicant :

This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Please be advised that although your stay in USA was not for 6 months at a stretch, you are still required to submit an FBI clearance certificate.

We give you an extension to submit the FBI certificate and you may submit the same within 10-12 weeks’ time. However, you must undergo medical examination and submit other documentation/information requested in our e-mail dated September 23, 2014 within 45 days as advised in our e-mail. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

Sincerely,

Immigration Section/ Section de l’immigration

It will take minimum 3 to 4 weeks and for maximum we can not predict as it is CIC... :)

for MR u need to find the physician in your city who is authorized to provide such reports for CIC. you need to find the list on CIC website and book an appointment with them. just mention that it's for Canada PR and they will do the rest. you don't need to worry about which tests and how/when to send the reports as those are sent electronically by the physician.

for PCC you can either contact commissioner's office or passport office (if it's locally made in hyd).. you might need to pay xtra to them in order to speed up the process. if u haven't received the request already.. my suggestion start now as it might take time...
Hey Guys i think i might have screwed my payment for RPRF as when i was paying online through CC it asked for country details where i updated it as India but there was no option to update the state i live in and city also . The only options available were canada states.. so i updated my city details and left the canada drop down box empty and paid my $490. i got reciept also for it now.. Did i do it right or i need to redo something or inform CIC or NDVO...?? i am shit scared pls helpppp...
