Hello Everyone,
I have a quick question, I sent my application yesterday, I know its kindda later but i guess better late than never. Well, I didn't send the PCC along with the application as it would have costed me another 15 days so I mailed the application without it but I forgot to add an explanation as to why the PCC wasn't attached.

Can the experts please suggest what to do?
1) should I wait for the CIC to ask me to send them or
2) should I mail it separately to CIC as soon as I get it.

and can someone also tell me by when can I expect my Bank DD to be charged considering I sent my application yesterday.

As others have shared - PCC is not mandatory with the application.
When to get one is dependent on where all you need the PCC from? Since the processing time varies a lot based on the country, some might take months to get ex US FBI PCC and other only a few hours ex India Passport office.

Hence plan accordingly and plan early

My application reached CIC on 8th Sept under 2173. What are my chances?

CIS shows 392 applications accepted till date. What does it mean? Do they mean 392 CC/DD are charged or the 392 PERs are sent? Or do they mean 392 applications reviewed?

CIC website shows completed/ processed applications till the date, June 1st week...( believed to be the PER no)

No body can predict your chances , hope for the best .. Good Luck

So sorry to hear that happened to you. Indeed, US$3000 is nuff nuff money! I remember checking out the use of consultants prior to applying, but when I heard the costs, I kindly excused myself from that conversation, especially since that money would have to go to making up the settlement funds. I'm so thankful I found this forum in the first stages. It was an AWESOME resource and an amazing help. That's why after I sent mine, I also attempted to give back by helping out here and there.
