Hello Everyone,
I have a quick question, I sent my application yesterday, I know its kindda later but i guess better late than never. Well, I didn't send the PCC along with the application as it would have costed me another 15 days so I mailed the application without it but I forgot to add an explanation as to why the PCC wasn't attached.

Can the experts please suggest what to do?
1) should I wait for the CIC to ask me to send them or
2) should I mail it separately to CIC as soon as I get it.

and can someone also tell me by when can I expect my Bank DD to be charged considering I sent my application yesterday.

Don't worry. It is optional to send PCC with application. Keep with you when you get it and submit to your Visa Office on demand. CIC will never ask for it. Your country VO will ask along with MR. 8)

I have some wonderful news. I received MR from my VO today! ;D . I am just blown away by this. Exactly 3 weeks after receiving PER. My VO seem to be on the ball this year! Refer to my timeline below:

PER rcvd: 09 Sep 2014
MR rcvd: 30 Sep 2014

ECAS still has only the first line. I also got a request to submit Original Birth Certificate and RPRF. Nothing else.

I have updated the spreadsheet.

By following through this forum, I understand that latest charge date is June 12. Assuming that CIC is fueled this way, I believe I will hear far less time than estimated date in S/S.

Hi,

One question about the proof of funds. Is it required to have the money in a Canadian bank?

Some friends of mine have done this but the official information only states that one must show proof of readily transferable funds in a convertible currency, according to the number of people going to Canada.

So, having the money in my country and showing certifications from my current bank is valid?

Liquid assets only, Local bank is Good. 6 months Statement is better, Only send Correct information, CIC might do a check on employment, funds etc.

"We have started processing your app on 25th Sep"

App sent - 12th May
PER - 21st Aug

When can I expect my MR ?
Does the second line addition mean they r going to take it slow ?
( as many have said they received their MR prior to second line update )

Do advice, TIA

Hello all,
i received my PER today,SS updated..i have my NDVO as VO,but right now i am in Canada as an intl student will be here until Aug 2016..So should i convey my change of address to CIC to change my VO from NDVO to Ottawa as it is stated that we have to notify them for change of address..
Also my spouse(dependent) and my two kids are in India...plz help me in how to proceed
