Hi,

I had picked category 1112 (financial and investment analyst) while applying for qualification assessment with ICAS. but later on, I have decided to apply under category 0111 (Financial managers). I have received the assessment report and it just says that the bachelor is equivalent to Canadian bachelor and MBA is equivalent to Canadian MBA. It does not mention anything about the category on the assessment report.

I would like to ask for guidance if I am eligible to apply under different category now.

Your ECA only confirms if your academic credentials are valid and up to the Canadian standards. The category you enter in there is only for the WES' survey purpose, it has nothing to do with the category apply for in FSW.

You can apply for any NOC in which you have at least one year of full time experience and an employment reference letter confirming your job duties matches with the job duties for NOC, and all other necessary details about your employment. FYI, generally CIO Sydney sets very very high standards for Finance Managers category. Unless you're really manager of a large team or at a senior management level it'll be difficult to qualify, IMHO!

But passing certificate only contains applicant name, not DOB & father's name. And I am not sure in passing certificate or marksheet anyone in india do get parent name or DOB

If you want to add pls also send that relieving letter of school too.

CBSE board's Xth class mark sheet and certificate do have DOB and parent's name.

Thats absolutely correct. Job Duties matter, not designations.

on this the signature of the advocate.

Thus this is sufficient or



or we have to notarise it. I think in notarise i have to Put the Stamps of 50 as informed by advocate

so please suggest guys what to do....

The Guide contains instructions for translated documents. You must follow it exactly.

1. The translation must be notarized.
2. You must provide an affidavit from the translator.
3. You must provide a certified copy of the untranslated original document.

Anything less risks rejection.

Actually, In gujarat board X marksheet or degree certificate does not carry parent name or DOB.
However in LC it contains student name, parent name, DOB

So what he needs to act is, X marksheet, certificate, School leaving certificate original native language, School leaving translated copy notarized, and affidavit by parents as well as the cover letter for explaining the reason for not having BC.

VO has requested me to send passport copies.

- Please send photocopies of your updated/valid passports (only front and back Bio pages) for all .

I have a doubt that we have to send attested copies or normal photocopy without attestation.

Please suggest.
