I have a question. I received my MR on 26th September. The Ndvo has asked me for my PCC along with other documents. But my consultant had asked me to send the pcc separately as soon as I got my PER. The pcc was received by NDVO on 15th September. As per my consultant there is no need for me to send the pcc again. But I am confused. What do you guys say? Should I do pcc again and send the new one or just send the photocopy of the earlier pcc?

The "CHIP" comes into picture only when the Card is being used "Physically" at a POS. When you make an Online purchase (for example) with the same CHIP enabled Credit Card, the PIN does not come into picture. VBV/OTP/IPIN is what is used in such a scenario.

Eitherway, this will not affect transactions initiated by CIC.

No it would not! This would result in the forms being filled out incorrectly.

The generic form should certainly have the same name as the passport. However, under "have you ever used any other names," maiden names are specifically mentioned, so his wife's maiden name should go here. Additionally, any question that ask for "name at birth" should use the name as it appears on the birth certificate.

There is no need for an affidavit regarding a name change if it is a simple matter of a woman changing her name at marriage. The marriage certificate will suffice.

my case looks similar, but it is for my father, my father names spelling in current Passport is Prabohd, instead of Prabodh.

I have sent an affidavit stating my BC, 1oth Mrksheet, old passport that my father name is Prabodh not Prabohd. I sent my application on 18 aug, 2132 NOC,

will it affect my application.
Meanwhile I m planning to apply for new Passport for correction of father name spelling.

Relax! IELTS are good for 2 years. As long as yours was less than 2 years old at the time your application was received you are fine.

Inform VO that you have sent the PCC before and give your details and Courier tracking no for them to relate the UCI and PCC. No need to send PCC again in my opinion.

Thats on visa officer's discretion whether he is willing to accept minimum required or the one you have mentioned in your Settlement Funds

Mate, you are talking about common-law partner. It is not applicable for registered marriage case.

Hello All,

This query comes from a friend who is married and is about to file his application.

In the check-list it mentions that you need to provide an evidence that you are staying with your spouse for continuous 12 months. What all documents can be provided in this case given that they do not have any joint bank account till date & they stay with their parents so utility bills do not have their names joint.

Even the passports do not mention each other as spouse

Having said this, they have a marriage certificate to prove that they are married.

In this case, what additional documents will be provided to prove this point?
