I am June 12th Applicant.

Today i came to know that the Package i took from WES was document by document evaluation package not FSWP package.

I received one "two page report". which i attached with my application (no additional copy)

Should i update my package to FSWP Package. Otherwise CIC would not be able to access my online report on WES Website.

in case of updation they will send me a copy of evaluation and will give online access to CIC.

Is this new copy different than that already sent copy?

Should i send this copy to CIC as well?
Hey mine was also document by document package.. What impact will it have ?? Could this be a reason for rejection??

Do we have details of those NDVO guys whose MR, RPRF and PCC.. means all required docs have been received by NDVO...

Just asking because these are pre-requisite for PPR...

NDVO address is PO BOX number. So no confirmation weather docs have been received by them or not.
Only way to make out is RPRF DD encashment.

exactly so in my case it reached 12th Aug 2014 so should I be calculating the timeline from that date or it still differs..see we have mixed views in the forum too. :) :)

Re: I am a 2014-applicant but unable to see old ECAS status (a 2008 case)

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone please confirm whether you can see the status of old application(s) that was/were previously refused on ECAS? When I log in, I can only see the "in process" status of my application that I submitted in May, 2014. I do not see anything about the application I had submitted in 2008.

Here is a bit of dust covered history:
I am not sure how many are aware, but, back in 2008, it was called the Simplified Application method whereby an applicant would be required to submit only forms and no supporting documents, directly to the responsible visa office. In November_2008, Ministrial Instructions came in effect for the first time that shortened the list of eligible NOC's and retroactively rendered some applications, submitted between February and November, ineligible for processing. Mine was one of those unfortunate ones as my NOC was no longer in the new list. In addition, sometime in a later year CIC began the job of returning thousands of applications without processing filed even before February_2008, as part of a move toward cleaning up a large backlog.

Why am I saying all that? It is because I need to get rid of the grim feeling I am having - wondering whether CIC treated my case as a refusal or something else.

No you cannot see the status of the old applications on ECAS, once your current application is being shown In Process. There is a possibility though if you did refer to your old file number in your current application it would have just come up on the ECAS, prior to your current application going into a In process state. This basically is just to do a validation check and also could be a possible case to migrate it from their old system to the new ones that they are using now. This is all just to look up and judge the reason for refusal, but once that is done, it is through and is out of the system and the current one is all that you will be able to see. So chill pal, don't get too worried about it, your current one being shown is good news. :D Cheers!!

Dear All,

Can anybody guide about the forms that are listed on CIC website. I have already filled IMM0008 form that includes my spouse and a Son in the dependent section. I am confused about the Maiden Name question in dependent form as My wife Family Name was different before marriage but after the marriage my Name was attached as a family Name. What shall i do for that as her Birth Certificate explicitly shows her Past Family Name and in the Dependent section of IMM 0008 her new Family Name is listed. Please guide me on this.

I am also confused about the other forms i mean which one i have to fill in order to complete my application. Please guide my about the following forms are they applicable for my application.

IMM 0008DEP
IMM 5660
IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3
IMM 5406
IMM 5562
IMM 5604
IMM 5409

Please, Please , Please help me out as i have to submit my application in next two days.

Yes of course you have to calculate from 12th August only. You don't have any other date to mark your application's status with CIC.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

A repeated question but its really baffling me again and again. I have my PSK appointment tomorrow for the PCC. I called up consultant just to ask for the list of documents to take (just to make sure I dont miss any). He tells me now that PCC from PSK wont work and I need to get PCC from local police station of every city I have stayed in India (in my case, its 3 different Indian cities), so that they can verify it properly. If in case I go with the PSK PCC, it will be at my risk. Although, I have read so many times on the forum that there is one PCC per country, but still the guys is confusing me more and more, I am getting a bit tensed too.

Please help !!

Thanks a lot Gur2010..So what is your guess when should I expect first communication from CIC..As per the SS it shows tentatively by 1st week of Nov.

Whats your app status as of now??
