I just want to know whether 10th grade certificate mentioning DOB would be good as much as municipal birth certificate or not.

Make sure your 10th certificate has father's name. If not, please attach an affidavit from your parents. Also, on a separate sheet of paper justify with reasons why you could not provide a birth certificate.

Ni hao..hello everybody and congrats to all received cc charge today.

just a quick question since i am worried and tense for the August charge,i submitted my application 4214 August 22,just can't remember whether i should've passed the ECA report original or a copy only because I'M5612 document checklist says a copy unless otherwise stated but in schedule 3economic ;6;says i should include the original ECA REPORT.please kindly enlighten me so i can send additional document before the verdict date..

for CAD1100 how much INR balance should be there in CC? Is School leaving valid proof of Date of birth??

Do not go by the dot and maintain a little more balance than the math suggests. School Leaving Certificate along with a Sworn Affidavit is accepted by CIC as Proof of Birth. Assuming the Certificate has all the required data.

ECA has to be sent in ORIGINAL.

The Document Checklist specifies this clearly. You have misread it.

If you currently have 2 Original versions of WES Report (assuming you went for WES Evaluation) then you most likely have sent a copy.

ECA is a MANDATORY document. I do not think CIC accepts it as an additional document in which case you may have to prepare a new package.

Current status shows, "we started processing your application on September 23rd.

Last year when I was applying for FSW after signing the forms in blue I noticed in the guide that said it should be signed in black. I printed all the forms again and signed them in black. Such a waste of time, if I only knew that doesn't matter

The PR form says Print in black but nothing about signing,my friends used blue in signing and got through.. however, seniors can guide better

Hello Guys

This is related to my Quebec case please answer below questions after reading my case.....

I have 3 year diploma in Computer Engineering and B.tech in CSE.

Quebec State case Detail:

1. First i have applied in year 2009 (after one year exp in IT line) but that case was rejected because my points are not up to there requirement and i got this from information in 2010.

2. Than again i applied in 2010 and now i submitted A1,and A2 French certification and my exp is 2 years now. So after 2010 i got letter from then on 20 August that update your case with latest changes in your life,experience.


But now as i already applied for the FSW2014 in may 2014 under 2173 Category and i got PER in August 2014 and my file processing is also started at Delhi NDVO from 12 September 2014.

When i have applied for the FSW2014 i did not mentioned in my forms that i also applied for the Quebec state because at the time i do not know my file number and i even don't know what is going with that case. But when the letter comes in August 2014 in that i have file number, So now i have updated this in my Federal Forms and send to Delhi office. I mentioned about both cases and my current case file number.

So will this effect my case?
Will NDVO verify my Quebec case with file number i sent?

Please give your thoughts .........

Dear Admin,

i have a query that i applied on dated 13 august with pcc from india(6 month validity)and england(one year).
if i got per in 4 month time, still i need to take pcc(india) again or i have no need to have fresh pcc.

It would be fine if PCC sent with application.

Investment done by you are always an ASSET.

FOR mutual fund get Nav certificate from the company and it should also show that it is open ended and it should not have any lock in period.
For policy need certificate for surrender value.

Do I need to provide these documents at the time of submitting the application? Or can provide these docs when they ask(i mean after PER)?

so for now as I got confirmation of my dd ecashment I would like to share few things

Mistake : I photocopied my whole set of papers just before sending my courier and later in mid of August while rechecking photocopies I realised additional family info form for applicant was not there .
I was shocked
There could have 2 possibilities
1: photocopy vendor guy missed my single page form while making photocopy and my original form gone with file .
2: my original form left with photocopy vendor itself :-\

As I was not ready to take even 1 % chance I sent additional info form again to cic with all th details and after delivery confirmation of additional document ( by dhl) I sent email with all the details including screen shot of additional document's arrival details ( on 28th August )

Though I dint get email reply till now but I m sure my file is complete for now ( as I got charged now)

Moral of the story: I recommend to keep one full set of photocopies of your final file but after making photocopy please get that file back home re-check everything , seal it and then courier .


P.s. I dint send my kiddo's passport with file ( included 150 cad for the same though) will provide at later stage.

In Short : Before you actually place the Document Bundle inside the envelope and Seal it, do 1 final proof read of the entire set.
