Im a june 4th applicant. My CC was charged last sept 23. Thru this forum, i managed calling cic to get my UCI since im a new applicant. After several tries, today my ECAS is showing IN PROCESS. I hope PER is on its way!

Hi I am from Australia .. PCC is a later stage for me its still time to reach there but can you please tell me that if you have fines on your name then how difficult does it get? My wife is principal applicant though .

You need to apply for National police check from australia,Dont worry for traffic infringement or bank frauds,Unless you have any case registered in court ,GO fast fees is 42c dollars apply online within 10-12 days you will receive PCC fro australia.

Do i also need to show Life insurance policy and mutual funds? Is it an asset or liability?

Investment done by you are always an ASSET.

FOR mutual fund get Nav certificate from the company and it should also show that it is open ended and it should not have any lock in period.
For policy need certificate for surrender value.

Its absolutely fine dear. I had the same case. All my docs has father name in it where as in Passport , i have only my first & Last name. Dont Worry. Hope ur father's name is mentioned in fathers name column.

So guys, My CC has been charged this morning. What do I do next?

How do I update the spread sheet? and I hear a lot of people say they got their "PER", what is a PER? and how will i get it? (email or regular mail?)..

PER is "Positive eligibility review". You will get this via e-mail after your CC/DD is charged, usually in 1-2 weeks. PER indicates that your documents are complete and your file will be transferred to local VO for further processing.

Dear Members,
I have received a mail stating that "Your application has been transferred to the visa office in New York, NY, USA for further review of your eligibility and admissibility for a permanent resident visa."
I am in USA from about last 3 years and placed CPC-Ottawa during filing the application form.
Date of application: May 14th 2014
Date of PER received: September 2nd 2014

Please suggest what this mail implicate and why the file is being transferred to New York instead of CPC-Ottawa.
Need advice to lower my anxiety. Looking forward to hearing from you all....

It is OK, the visa office is usually transferred to the citizenship country or where you are living legally.

Thank you it mentions my father's name. One more help, is birth certificate a valid proof of date of birth?
