I am from India. I applied on 9th June with payment mode as DD. When can I expect my DD to be encashed?? Or Am I out of the game?? I am really worried.. Plz help..

Hello Bro,

Even I m a 9th June DD applicant.... Dont worry just hang in there......Next week we will for sure see DD's getting charged....BTW I dont see ur entry in SS.....

He can still send the letter but there is no guarantee that CIO could match it with his application.

There have been many cases where additional documents have been added to the original app this year. My new credit card derails were added. We saw even an email response from cic for a query from one of the forum members regarding addition of more documents which stated that addition of documents takes some time. The key is for the applicant to correctly identify the original app by providing full name, dob, passport no, uci no, nationality, date received etc.

In this case, i strongly recommend the forum member to send additional documents explaining job duties. There are good chances that it might get added to the original app. All the best!

Make a cover letter
For example
Source CURRENCY in hold CAD
1. Saving account SA 1000 600
(APPLICANT)

2. Term deposit INR 60000 1000
(DEPENDNT)
Total 1600

In addition attach all the evidences notarised at the back of This letter. U can get balance certificate from SA banks in the same fashion what we are getting in India.

What is trusted partner? It is just u need to show funds which an be liquiditated in a months time or less than that.

Sorry, I should have said that I also recommend sending additional documents but nobody knows for sure if that always works. I know many people got lucky but others didn't....
I just hope he moves quickly enough and the docs reaches CIO on time
