Respectful Seniors,

I received PER and the application arrived local VO.

My job changed but same nature and NOC. Should I notify them? As I read from the AOR email that change of job seems not a mandatory issue to tell them?

If I tell them, will it affect my application? Will it be delayed or declined because of this?

Thanks a lot for your answer

Congrats for getting the PER..It's a million dollar question about SGVO's Processing time..Nothing to do except waiting!

It is really frustrating to see SGVO's speed. Are they really working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Viji,

Please apply for PCC directly from SP office.

Also, please apply for reissue of passport as well at the earliest so that you have it ready by the time of visa stamping. You can inform your local VO later about reissue of passport.

Thanks bro!

Generally in what time DD is getting encashed?
As we already know that 5th June CC has been charged for lot of applicants here.
I am the 5th June DD guy.
Confirmed with my bank that DD still not debited.

I have 4 companies in last 7 years out of which one gave me a ref letter on letter head with roles, rest 3 of them denied it. As a alternative i managed to get a email from my senior colleagues with the roles and respons with no of hours worked and the duration of employment and the sender's contavt details , along with that i attached a self affidavit for each of these email stating i wont be able to provide a roles n responsibility letter hence the email, please feel free to contact Mr _____- for any clarification.

Some say that its not sufficient to suffice ref letters. Want to know if anyone has got per with this scenario.

many potential candidates are now receiving their ECA reports as the rate of filing may be
increased from Oct 2014 upwards.
Wishing you all best of luck in your application filing.

I am sending my application today under the NOC Code 2132 (2132 Mechanical engineers) . But, if I take your analysis positively and think about the other NOC, Such as NOC 2232 (2232 Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians). Than what will be the difference?

I mean that will that matter have a negative impact on the job Prospectus? Or these codes are necessary just to reach to CANADA? And after that I can get the job of my relevant area.

Dear Seniors,

In case the employer company is unwilling to provide the experience letter on company letter head (due to restrictions as per company policy), is it ok to obtain an email (from the official email id) of my manager with details of my job duties and provide that as a reference letter? Backing that up with the visiting card of my manager? Please let me know.

Thanks

Hey Pal,

Just yesterday someone received PER who has provided proper reference letter (as per CIC requirement) for just 2 years out of 10 years of total experience. Go back 20-30 pages and you will find his post.

If even with 1 reference letters you meet CIC's eligibility criteria (i.e. at least 1 year of full-time employment & 60% to 80% of roles matching with the ones mentioned on CIC website), I think its good enough.

Good Luck.

Yes they are working , but working on 2011/2012 applications.

One reason for delay could be Singapore is responsible for 11 countries.

And in the previous years there were no provision of Educational Credential Check , so probably its taking them time to verify documents.

All in all, its not fair to see people who have applied in the same program already getting MRs , while Singapore sends AOR and delays any outcome on applications for more than two years

Disappointing :(

Rather than getting it in an email and taking a Print, Format and print it in a document and get your Manager's attestation on it. It would also help if you enclose a print of the official email (if any) between yourself and the HR indicating why the Letter of Reference cannot be provided.

My suggestion to you, if your company refuses because of the company policy, just print the letter yourself on company letter head and get it signed and stamped by your immediate boss or supervisor. if that is also not possible, then an email to your boss or HR, stating that as you are aware i am working in a position of bla bla, since this and that date as a full time employee of this organization etc. having the below major responsibilities... after sending your email, talk to them verbally and ask them to reply mentioning that they cannot issue such a letter because of company policy or whatever reason they may tell, but in their reply if they dont deny your job description.. then its a proof ..just attach this email along with your contract, increment letters, and rest of documents u got from your company

Hope this helps ;)

Brother, it depends on the discretion of the review officer - they may accept it with or without signature of your supervisors. My suggestion, get them signed on your reference letters in plain papers and send it as additional documents to CIO with the cover letter.
