Iam not quite sure because I used CC. I think is from 3-4 days to 1 week. Another person might give you a more accurate estimate.

my friend did his graduation (B.A.) through correspondence from a recognized university......is he eligible for 21 points .....as some consultant told him that he is not eligible as his graduation is through correspondence ....

I am sorry to say correspondence education is not considered as full time education. Hence, it is not valid for the process.

My parents' name on the 10th certificate is different from what it is on Passport.

father's name:
10th Certificate has "Firstname Middlename Lastname", whereas, Passport has "Firstname Middlename"

mother's name:
10th Certificate has "Firstname Middlename", whereas, Passport has "Firstname Lastname"

Would these discrepancies in names create a problem in the application?

Please help.

Just go for an affidavit.

To show the work experience, do we need to attach any any letters mentioning the JD (job description)? I only have the appointment and experience letters from my ex-employers.

get a letter from your employer for job duties. Its the most important document.

In case they don't provide, get the same letter from your boss or senior colleagues and mention in cover letter that company did not provide and hence taken from boss..

My current address is different than what I have on my passport. Currently I am staying on rent, I do have only lease agreement as address proof. All other documents are having my permanent address.
If lease document can serve the purpose for my current address then I am good to go. Otherwise I need to check for other sources.

If your lease agreement is a " Registered Rent Agreement (for a period of more than one year)" then its acceptable. Please get a letter from your Company's HR stating your current address also..

All, something Odd so I thought should share. I am a May 07 applicant with PER received on August 7th I guess. Status quo thereafter, however, Just now, One of the Immigration Officer has added me to his LinkedIn profile. I thought this is very strange so I must share. I do not actively follow up this forum only log on to post anything to my case. If this has been happening to other people and been discussed, disregard or lemme know what happens

He is also one name receiving the initial packages. I am not disclosing the identify though.

It's a little hard to believe actually. It's one to look u up on the web/LinkedIn and the other to be asked to accept as a connection...
