My Birth Certificate has my first name against the "Name of the Child" column. But all other details are correct including parents name, place/date of birth.

Will this be a problem?

July PCC will be valid till next July, 2015 as your application is already with NDVO. 3 months clause is applicable to new applications only.

Name of the child is correct..You are the child in the BC, buddy...

I have a similar concern. I am a May 30th applicant. I live in the USA and have already got PCC from Indian Embassy dated July 31st, 2014. I will send PCC request to FBI in a few days. Is the Indian PCC dated, July, 2014 valid for one year?

How can a self employed mention his number of hours per week work done ?\
kindly advice seniors

I guess only business tax records, registration proofs, work contracts/orders, emails, visiting cards, conference/seminars attendance proofs, reference letters from clients and all that proves that you were running that particular profession would suffice. In fact one can ask for working hours mention in the reference letters and work contracts/orders from clients/associates.

I think being self employed is in itself a full time employed.... who else can prove a self employed works for that much of hours ?
any comments ?????

Embassy generally send email to verify employment history because:
1. It can be preserved
2. It can be produced for legal proceeding

Yes, he can provide the mobile number of his boss with explanation but why he did not provide it with the application. And, who owns the phone - the tenant or employer?

Actually the mobile phone number provided by my friend is of Boss's assistant but he sits alongside the boss so no problem there.

As for your second point, employer himself is the tenant and because of old tenants' default, Telecom authorities have basically black-listed the premises for further availability of phone connection.

I have not received any mail of acknowledgement from CIO despite of several mails being sent by me enquiring the status of my application. I sent the DD instead of CC. How long would I have to wait, can anyone please help me ? M worried

A thread participant reported lately that his application with same name prerequisites received positive determination of eligibility. So, looks like you are on the safe side.
