It seems that the Hong Kong VO is asleep. Nobody has heard anything from them with the exception of 2 very early PP requests.

I'm 7 May and ECAS doesn't even read "We have started processing your application..." yet.

I'm thankful to have got to the point where I am but I am always nervous whenever there is a long period of silence.

Oh well, more time to get in tip top shape for my medicals. ;D

Congrats, that's faster than light :D

Hi friend,

I have applied under 2174 noc on june 05 2014, I found my credit card got charged on 20th September. My concern is, last time I have applied and file got rejected I Got UCI number last time and I have used the same UCI for this time as well.

Point is I have mentioned my mail id in generic form 2014 application correctly, but in 2013 generic form my agents mail is mentioned. I waiting for the PER so to which mail id I will get the mail???

You'll get it on your personal email ID that you mentioned in this year's generic app form.

Thanks dude.... But will the NDVO ppl not question me asking where I m working or why I m not working....And what documents I have to send them once I left my job....

Firstly, the NDVO CIC officers don't handle background verification, it is performed by a civil contractor which reports it's findings back to the RPC. Secondly, you are not required to update the VO with your employment details.

Hi All,

I recently received MR from NDVO. Can someone please help me with the below queries ASAP?

1. I was in USA last year for overall 10 months but did not stay there continuously for 10 months. I was in US from Mar-July and then in Canada for two weeks in August and then back to USA from Mid Aug to Dec end. So since the stay was not continuous will i need US PCC?

2. In how many days NDVO replies on a CSE raised? They say they will reply within 28 days...anyone experienced a timely reply from them?

3. I will be travelling to Seattle in next few weeks. Hopefully if things go well and i get visa stamped sometime later, can i land in Vancouver just to get PR formalities done and later on move to Toronto? Does the landing place matter?

Please shed some light on this. Thanks a bunch!
