Dudette here buddy and you're welcome.

I guess, even if you have taken an appointment, you can still go there as a walk-in on any working day. You can try it if it aint too much trouble.

Your name does give that impression.....i've seen frasier and i am quite sure he didnt look like a dudette at all :P :P

Hi All,

please advise:

I have worked under NOC 2172 for more than 2 years, however due to some reasons now i have resigned from my job. Will that affect my application? Do i need to be working under the same NOC till the time i get fully assessed?

thanks a lot in advance

If you are now doing job in another eligible NOC fro this year then i would say you are definitely safe. However i am not sure if your current job role doesnt fall under eligible NOCs. But i feel that there shouldnt be issue.

I resides in Gurgaon..i got 20 Oct 2014 date..FOR GURGAON PSK..

Pls mention what is the resource of this information to WALK in

Frasiercrane is right. I got my PCC from Gurgaon PSK in june and that was indeed a walk-in.

i am a delhi resident and Bhikaji cama place PSK dosnt do PCC it was either ITO or Gurgaon option available to me. I registered online took the print of form and reached PSK @ 10.00am paid 500rs in PSK and got 2 copies of PCC by 1.00pm. (my address was the same as in PP)

So no need to waste time waiting for appt date, just walkin on any working day and save time.

Good luck..

There was no background check i guess bcoz my company didnt receive any call from NDVO.

After receipt of PER, it took 4 months to get Med, PCC & RPRF form NDVO.

If you are from Mumbai, Thane there are walk ins between 9 to 10.30 in the morning. You can directly go with your online application form and Adhar card and passport. They will provide you PCC on the spot

I am not from Mumbai but staying in Mumbai since quite some years.

So from Passport Office online registration;
1) Can i select my Passposrt office as Mumbai?
2) Can i walkin and apply PPC in Mumbai? (*My Passport issue city is not Mumbai)

Hello All,

My application was received on 6th June and my CC is charged today morning.

NOC: 2173

Moderators, please update the sheet.

Thank you everyone for your help and support !
Congratulations bro! One question though, the spreadsheet shows your applications reached 5th of June and this post you are saying 6th, so is it 5th or 6th?

9 am at Nova Scotia. Hopefully should see a lot of fee encashments and PER today also. Best of luck to all the waiting applicants.

Which receipt ??

Actually I opt for DD payment instead of online payment.

I sent
1. Cover letter
2. PCC
3. Medical tracking sheet
4. DD $490
5. Request letter which i received from NDVO

Tell me if I missed anything??

Looking at the way things are going, there may still be time although originally i thought this will be the hottest NOC after 2174.

But why wait till November, thats more than a month away. You can file your application in october even if you apply for IELTS and WES this week.

Thanks click.trick for your quick reply. Some more doubts.
1.) Completeness check is a semantic check. So if they find a document which they trust would be the birth certificate. They would move on for CC charge. But for PER, they need to see positive eligibility for FSW. So the Age Eligibilty factor has to proved. So in an application with Principal and Dependent, will they look for deterministic proof for the dependent too. If so, would they consider that the document is not a BC. Just a question from a really worried applicant :( May sound crazy.

2.) I did some background study for rejections which were birth certificate. I distinctly remember 2 cases. One was related to rejection before CC charge. Another was at PER stage. I will try to dig that up in a moment.

Thanks again for ur 2 cents! really appreciate it!

As they are issuing PERs within a week time, and the people who have UCI, their status is updated prior to the reception of PER, so i feel more thorough check is carried out before CC charge.
Secondly, the birth certificate you have sent must be having details of spouse mom and dad, which can be verified through the ID card and passport
Third point I would make here is that your spouse age does not affect your application so having a birth certificate is important, which you already have. Even in some cases who had attached the Secondary school certificate as BC was also accepted.
Not having any document will be a confirm rejection, but you have a document which is a birth certificate issued by hospital i guess.
So don't worry... u will see a PER soon
