Hopefully in the next 30 days. Currently CC's till 6/June are known to have started charging. You can also refer the spreadsheet.

Validity:

9.1 All prepaid payment instrument issued in the country shall have a minimum validity period of six months from the date of activation/issuance to the holder.


9.2 In the case of non-reloadable prepaid payment instruments, the transfer of outstanding amount at the expiry of the payment instrument to a new similar payment instrument of the same issuer, purchased by the holder may permitted.


9.3 The outstanding balances in any payment instrument shall not be terminated immediately at expiration, of the instrument. The value may be depleted at the rate of 10 percent of the outstanding value per month. The holders may also be adequately cautioned in advance as regards the expiry of the validity of the payment instrument.

Application Received Date: 5th June

Few things about my application

1) I applied in 2011(Cap Reached), 2012(Occupation Did not open), 2012( Quebec-still processing)
2) I checked NO box in Ques 6 (c,d& e). Only shared my UCI number
3) Had to break all my FDs and transferred them on my spouse's name(For which i might need to share detail later with NDVO)
4) My spouse's birth certificate had only first names of his parents(we shared the affidavit but forgot to sign it)

Thanks ashif for reply. All the details are mentioned d in the experience letter except the salary part.

If that exp point is not mandatory then u need not to think about this....Otherwise take a new revised work
letter and send it to CIC asap......

So, the Pessimistic Estimate for NOC 2171 has turned to "Cap Full" today !!! I am trying not be pessimistic, but my application is reaching CIC tomorrow... so here's all the positivity toward the process and hoping the pessimistic approach is really wrong!

BTW, is there any downloadable copy of the spreadsheet? I would like to run a few analysis of my own to come up with some calming data points and dates. Will appreciate the link / downloadable copy in the inbox. Thank you and all the best to all!

Hi Everyone!!

Congratulations to those who has moved further!

My File was received on 28th July 2014. I had chose DD as a mode of payment. I have got it via Indusind Bank. After reading several posts here, I realized my DD also has only 3 months validity and is expiring on 18th Oct 2014. I have noticed in SS that they are taking more than 3 months to process the amount.

Please advice me what is the solution? Should I go for another DD or bank can extend the validity? Can I send a CC detail this time around 1st week of October as a safer side?

Confused.... ??? ??? ???

Is the expiration date mentioned in the DD? Go to your bank personally and ask the branch manager of the Forex department about DD validity.
All international DD's are supposed to have a validity of 6 months, unless specified differently on the DD.

Iam June 4 th applicant of 2173 code and still did not DD is encashed.

June 5th and 6 th applicans DD is encashed. all my hopes are vaporised.

But still praying my loving god Raghavendhra swamy.

I had sent 3 emails for different blunders that I made in a span of a month. Always missed mentioning my DOB bcos of which they responded with no answer. Sent a mail yesterday asking these details. Should receive a reply next month.
