one has used Debit card and transaction was success...please advice

Hi nithya,
People have used debit card (not sure if any indian fellow have used). But dd option is highly recommended if yiu do not have any specific probkem with thst. Dd us more safe and authentic. You know rbi keep changing policies so frequently so it us too risky.

Please ensure from bank that Debit card is allowed for global transactions.

This information is really helpful. I have submitted my application on September 02, 2014 and just 1 week later i have received a new chip credit card from the bank. My old cc will be expired on october 22nd and i have mentioned the details of same for my payment. I have sent an email to cic informing about the same and sending them a revised payment form, with new cc detials. I have also noticed that i have mentioned my wife's year of birth wrong. Should i re-send the same as well? please advise.

First of all, please clarify if u have sent an email or a mail / hardcopy / courier. If it is through mail, this will work. Am not sure if the dependent information should also match. Seniors should be able to comment better in this case. Considering my case, if my 19th august package was added to the original application, then the dependent info doesnt matter, as I had given nothing but the applicant names and package receive date for them to match. Again, this is subjective, if u want to be sure, u can send another package.

My 2 cents advice for you is to visit your bank / write to the credit card wing / do anything to request them to keep ur old credit card alive for another 3 months or so. i.e if it is possible. All the best!

Thank you every one for help as I am the principal applicant I have few more questions:-

1- I am staying with my husband in Dubai from the last 1 year should I attach Police clearance for myself and my husband for the last ten years where we lived? it would be so difficult!

2- Shall I attach both parental details and addresses in my application along with their pictures and passport copies?
3- Should I attach original copies of Birth certificate for both of us?

4- At the time of sending the application is it necessary to hold CAD 14000 in my account and for how long I should retain this amount?

No need to do it now. you can provide PCC when they request later.

No need to attach any pics or passport copies. Only their info in the form is sufficient.

Nope. attested copies will do.

I would be better if you keep the amount till you get visa.
