I am a June 2, 2014 applicant and my cc was charged last Sept 18, 2014...THANK GOD... ;D ;D

just want to share my story....Sent a complete application to CIC received on June 2..then June 19, WES amended my ECA. I sent CIC an email regarding this and if I could sent additional documents. They replied last Sept 12 asking for the amended ECA.

I couried it and cic received it on Sept 18....and charged my cc on the same day.

Thanks also to ashif_eee and Oscar7 for the guidance on how to send additional docs.

But I have a question. How did you send new documents to CIC after submitting your application? Did you write your information on the envelop to make sure they would identify your package right away? Or did you send only a cover letter? I am asking you that, because I am not sure if they even open the package when they receive it or if they wait until reach the date considering that all packages are new applications.

How exactly did you pack and identify your new documents?

Dear Expert ,

I got the 550 CAD DD from ICICI bank , and on the back side of DD there is a space for 'Endorsement - Signature and Stamp' , whose responsibility is to fill that up ?? was it ICICI or it will be filled up whoever will withdraw money from this DD?

That portion has to be left blank, at least that is what I was told by the bank lady (ICICI Bank)..I confirmed that twice or thrice with her, she made some phone calls to confirm it furrther..that portion has to be left blank...at least that is what i was told by ICICI bank lady

Was having a sleepless night here in India. Had been refreshing the forum posts the whole day today to receive some news for 5th June CC charge. It was 1:45 A.M here in India when my phone beeped. I peeked at the msg to see a debit of Rs.60672.81 when I received a call from the HDFC credit card Fraud dept asking me about the much awaited transaction

Forumites! very happy to share that I am the first of 5th June applicants to be charged!!! Yuhoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

App Filed : 5th June
Credit card lost: 3rd August
Additional Docs sent: 19th August [May not have identified the app properly. Only names of applicants and date of application provided]
2nd set of Additional Docs sent: 22 Sept [With proper identification]
Payment processed: 23rd Sept 5:30 P.M Sydney NS Canada Time

Some blunders in the application:
1.) Credit card lost. New credit card details sent.
2.) Visa office stated as VFS center Bangalore [an Application Processing Center] instead of New Delhi, India
3.) Have sent the Hospital Acknowledgement of Birth of my spouse instead of Birth Certificate. [Have found BC. Need to get it translated and sent as additional docs]
4.) Had a rejection of Tier 1 UK Visa in 2009. Forgot to mention it. Will send this info in the additional documents.
5.) Couriered the Application to PO Box instead of Dorchester street address meant for Couriers.

Would want to thank all the excellent members of this Forum for keeping up the positive spirit Special thanks to Oscar7, Century and all the other seniors who helped me and to Robbsman for sharing his experience of lost card Keep up the good work folks!!!

Just want to make clarification on Adhar Card.

I got some personal messages for Adhar Card.

I want to clear the misunderstanding. I am not saying that Adhar Card is a must or it has to be used as NID. I just said that i submitted that. I am not sure that it is NID or Not.

ADHAR card is still a controversy and not a complete thing, not an NID. ....leave it blank enter passport detail only!
