I got the 550 CAD DD from ICICI bank , and on the back side of DD there is a space for 'Endorsement - Signature and Stamp' , whose responsibility is to fill that up ?? was it ICICI or it will be filled up whoever will withdraw money from this DD?

Even, My credit card will ask for secure authentication password while making online transaction.

Does it block the credit card charging for CIC ...

Now it makes me worrying....

Please seniors, share your thoughts.

Wont ask for secure authentication password for POS transactions at the EDC machine used by CIC.

Hi senior, need your suggestion. My friend borrowed funds from their cousins and prepared a FD FOR 1 year and applied with FD and bank balance certificate. He is going to maintain that amount till he reach Canada.
- will this be a problem?
Or he should get a gift certificate (something like) document?
Or is there any other way to solve this?
Please advice.

Everything done today .. just waiting for IELTS result to reach home and then I can be part of SS and the long wait ..

a couple of simple queries:
1. Would PAN Card do for National ID document?? It doesnt have issue or expiry date, What have most of you guys used?
2. Can both mailing labels be in English?

Pan card is not a National ID. Leave NID blank
Both mailing labels can be in English.

I had posted the below questions yesterday but didnt get any reply.
Seniors - if you can please clarify my doubts, that will be a great help:

1) Do I need to fill 'Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP]' or can I just skip this particular form since only me and my wife are applying and
the information is already captured in the 'Generic Application Form' ?
2) Question 7(c), Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] form
"Is your spouse proficient in English or French" - Do I need to select NO if spouse hasnt given IELTS exam ?
3) Question 12 in "Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] form". For 10 months experience, can I select 1 year ?
4) Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] - Does this have to be filled by both me and my wife ?
5) For the funds, can I put my bank account balance in the 'assets' and 'settlement funds' ? Also, where do I put the stock/share balance (under assets or under settlement funds) ?

Hi everybody!

i am a new member on this forum. i want to share my experience and to ask some questions related to the application process.
I applied for FSW 2014 program in 28/May/2014. i received my PER on 18/Sep/014. my Visa office is AMMAN visa office. my questions are :
1) how long does it take to get the MR after the PER?
2) How could i know if the visa office has received my file or not?
3) is there any applicant from AMMAN visa office who can give a precise information about the timeline for receiving MR?
Please i Need your Heeeeeeeeeeelp

I am almost done with my application and will be out in next day or two for 2171. First of all what is the chance that I may make it to the final cut and secondly the things that I added I will list them would need your feedback or response on the same -
1) All the forms
2) IELTS
3) WES eveluation
4) Marksheets (Photo-copies)
5) Marriage certificate (An affidavit with both of our photos and the translated version of NikkahNama).
6) POF (40% from Savings Account letter from Bank and 60% as PF)
7) Employement letter signed by HR on Company letter head.
8) Roles and Responsibilities taken as an affidavit from a senior colleague along with the HR's mail of not providing it.
9) Payslips (Randomly about 20)(Photo-copies)
10) Offer letter, contracts, yearly incremental letter and promotion letters (Photo-copies)
11) 8 photos of me, my spouses and kid.
12) Passport pages (Photo-copies)

Do let me know if anything I have missed or needs to be added.

ok...Can i send this course credentials ...few months later...after filing my application???

Won't really be useful as points will be calculated by CIC within 3.5 months time of sending application.

Is the total not reaching 67 ?

Have you tried the option of IELTS for spouse to get 5 points for adaptability ?

so happy to announce ... my CC was charged on 19/09 for NOC 1111 ;D ;D

I did not updated the xls because I did not know how to... so here are the dates:
1 app received: 04/06
update for app (education copies not sent in first envelope...): 06/06.
CC charged: 19/09

I checked my UCI no (had a previous application) on On-line service application status, but there is no info...
How long it takes to receive the email for PER and the status on ECAS....
