No worry brother. CIC uses POS - they don't use online transaction system. So they don't require password.

Secure authentication password is required when you are making payment online. However here you are sending a signed form to charge and the charging agency is also Govt. so no problem at all. I made payment with my CC.

Thank you Century & jattjalandhar7, +1 for both Bro's...

Everything done today .. just waiting for IELTS result to reach home and then I can be part of SS and the long wait ..

a couple of simple queries:
1. Would PAN Card do for National ID document?? It doesnt have issue or expiry date, What have most of you guys used?
2. Can both mailing labels be in English?
hi srbhrn, I am also waiting for Ielts however I gave the exam on 20th Sep thru IDP. Just wondering when will I get the result. Also wanted to check If you are sending dd or CC?

Guys....

I have mentioned my NID as Drivers license and my spouse's NID as voter ID card in the form.... Will that be a problem... will it lead to rejection of my file.... :-[ :-[

Please advice.....

Hi all,

I needed to know, in the general application, in the dependents section, is it necessary to include your parents and siblings as well? Or can I just include my spouse and nobody else?

Thank you

2. Can both mailing labels be in English? Yes, if its your country's official language

I think result is declared after 13 days and you will receive the copy in next 7 days. I gave the fee by CC however, DD is always a best option

Hi Kapoor,

I also did it on 20th through BC .. had my interview today .. results would be declared on 3rd Oct and should reach me by 7th .. and application would reach CIC by 13th monday .. thats what I believe ..

I am using Amex CC

Hi Guys,
One question to you all,

Does NDVO work as per Indian Time or Canadian Time?

Indian time

Guys.. I need your comments on my situation.

I am currently in Toronto, as a student, about to apply for my work permit in a day or two. My CC was charged somewhere in August.

Now, I mentioned my Visa Office to be "CPC-Ottawa" in my application as I am living in Ontario since past 9 months and will continue to do so for a long time. I got CIC's email in August that my file will be transferred to the concerned Visa Office.

But, today I get an email from "CPC-Ottawa" saying that my file is being transferred to "NDVO" for further processing and they would work and approve my application. Now I do not understand what is the reason behind this? Is it that my PP is from Delhi ?

How will I interact with a Visa Office that is in India, when I am living in Canada?? Did this happen to others as well?
What could be the way ahead...?

Seniors, please comment and suggest.
Thanks.
