I am just wondering should i start working on PCC now itself or should i wait for communication from CIC, may be at some particular phase of application (like CC charged/PER Mail etc)

Thanks to have a partner (even my app date is 10 Sep 2014).

If you are staying in the same country, then please wait for your CC Charge or PER.

Hello Friends,

any one got the request for PCC again after submitting it with the Main application at CIO.
especially those who got Medical Request can Share the experience.


Is it better to send the PCC with the Main Application or need to wait for Medical Request.

You need not worry for not sending PCC with your application. But you must get it handy with you. When your file transferred to your country Visa office, they will ask for PCC and you have to submit is immediately. So start process for getting PCC. GOOD LUCK.

Hi Guys, My CC has been charged on May 30 but I am yet to receive PER email. Is it possible for me to check ECAS for the status of my application? i don't seem to have any UCI number now.

Request to all those who got the Mr OR waiting for Mr and got the second line updated on ECAS.

Pls update the SS with your "Processing Started date" (Second line from ECAS)

Some have simply put proc started date and Mr request date same...... pls check urs and update ??? ???

It will help many of us who are waiting for Mr.

Hello everyone, my heartiest congratulations to everyone, who have got MR requests and PER. My application was received by CIC on 22/05 and my DD was encashed on 10/09, ECAS has been updated as In Progress, but I haven't got PER email. Each day passing is traumatising me. Does anyone has any idea why is it taking time.

One thing I want to share is that, I gave employer reference letter on a letter Head carrying Delhi Head Office (Delhi HO has assured me that if CIC contacts them regarding my case, they will give +ve feedback). I also gave my manager's visiting card which has Punjab's number and site address, but recently he has moved to Gujarat. Although, I emailed him, but I haven't back anything yet. Do you think this can be a reason for the delay.

I would appreciate your invaluable feedback and any action that I can do now . . . . .

Hi Sam,

Please don't take any chance... My suggestion is - send the updated Generic form along with the cover letter and in front mention "Additional Documents", Primary Applicant Name, Application received date, NOC, Passport number etc...
No, I dont feel there is any need for this. He must have sent his language report which will show the institution details as well. Seniors could comment if I am wrong

I did submit my application package through my consultant who works in Canada...i dont know why he did not told me this..though i have sent IELTS report of mine along with my wife

In that case I am afraid to choose the credit card payment option.

As i have experienced that in many transactions my CARD will ask for a password. But for few of the transactions it won't. So, I am not sure whether the transaction by CIC will be done with out password or it will ask for the password?

So, can you please tell me what shud i prefer?

Statistically, if they had startded charging June 5 apps, we would have had a few reports from thread members by now, sharing the relevant news. But there are none, so it leaves us with the only entry that in this circumstances results to be a typo or stupid prank.

Could you please confirm how you are able to check your ECAS status since you have not received PER

Password is required only for online purchases, so the answer is NO as CIO charge will not trigger 3D secure.
