I want an info regarding PCC...

Does Local VO ask applicant to send update PCC even though applicant has sent PCC once with application..?? or Local VO just ask for PCC to whom who didn't send any PCC with Application before..??

They may or may not request a new PCC from the applicants who have already submitted PCC with their application.

VO asks for the PCC again only when the following conditions are NOT MET

If there was no PCC sent with the earlier APP filing.
If the PCC in the due course of processing has expired.

Wish someone who paid MR Fees online could clear the ambiguity on the credit card payment page. The address state field is mandatory but it never changes even after we select country as India.

Since, CIC clearly mentions that the fees need to be paid in CAD, I dont want to take chances by paying in INR. I don't mind the slight currency fluctuation.

Anybody from India who paid RPRF fees online through credit card, and knows how did he find his way around the Address State field. Is it to be filled with any dump value and still the payment will go through?

I really want to pay the RPRF fees today, so guys, please someone shed light on this issue.

Thanks for the reply , But the point is that last year , ref letters not on company letter head were accepted , and i am not implying CIC is dumb in any way when i say did not provide the ref letter on company letter head , that is because the company policy does not allow to do so , and for that an affidavit , notarized with the reasons ( company policy , Job description ) everything basically wanted by CIC is provided , just not on Company letter head.


So that is why m asking , has there been a case where people like me who could not get a company letter head ref letter and had a affidavit notarized got PER , were there application accepted ??

Hello Friends,

I have a query regarding the NOC. I am looking forward to apply under NOC 2173 but currently I am working in profile which falls in 1114. I am not able to arrange for the Job duties for NOC 1114 on the company letter head and not even on the blank paper by any colleague. This means I am left with the option of my previous job i.e. 2173. My query is, I do have the reference and Job duties written on the letter head for 2173, Do I need to provide something for my current profile also (i.e. 1114) apart from other documents like salary slip, appointment letter, etc. as I do not have anything which can validate my current duties with NOC 1114 duties.

Please reply what exactly is needed for NOC 1114 when my main category for application is 2173.

You only need to provide reference letters for NOC codes under skill level 0, A & B.

In fact, CIC guide 7000 clearly states that even in economic classes form we only need to list the occupations which fall in skill type 0 or skill level A & B.

But how can i prove that my that experience is noc level c? Where should i mention it?

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply. It should be in a validity period during your process at VO. In case it gets expired, VO may ask for the latest PCC.

for the new fee payment form, there is a total of 7 areas to be completed as:
1-principal applicant 0
2-spouse
3-dependent under 19
4-dependent over 19
5-each family member 22 or over
6-each family member under 22 married
7-each family member under 22 not married

i got confused, where to put my wife and 3 kids (8,6,2 years)

please help
