you need to worry if some uci number was given to you at that time.........also in feb 2008 in new system was adopted...where old file were written off..........i don't think this will impact your application ............

Dear Seniors,

I've made a mistake in Form IMM 5669. My application is in transit and still not arrived at CIO. Can I send a corrected form now or later? What will be its impact on my application?

Actually, I didn't read carefully Q.6(d) of Form IMM 5669 (Background declaration) "being refused visitor or temporary resident visa to Canada or any other country" and replied 'No' mistakenly. I'd been denied a student visa of Canada about 12 years ago which in fact falls under temporary resident visa category and I missed to mention this in answer to this question. What should I do now?
Should I wait and if given any reference number later, then inform them about this missing information afterwards or what are the other options? Sending the full application again seems difficult

Thanks pankaj for your reply. I've actually applied for a visitor visa of Canada in 2009 and was successful in getting that. I am not sure, but probably i might have mentioned that visa rejection in my 2009 visa application. Should I send a complete new application for this mistake or wait for the file to be tranferred to london visa office and then email them about this missing information?

My plan:
1) Have started my IELTS preparation, planning to take the exam on 1st or 2nd week of Oct.
2) Parallely, have gathered all the required information regarding the credential assesment - WES.
a) Will send my educational documents to WES and wait for them to send back the assessment result.
b) Will send back the same result to CIC.

Doubts:
1) What are the documents needed to send to WES for assessment? 10th, 12th, B.Tech (Computer Science) - final degree or marksheets?
2) What are the documents required as evidence/proof for applying under a particular NOC? Some writing on a company letterhead ??

[After you register to WES, and you specif your country, the WES will give you a link with a detailed description of what documents are required and how it is required to be sent to them.]
2) What are the documents required as evidence/proof for applying under a particular NOC? Some writing on a company letterhead ??
[basically a letter on company letterhead stating your title, detailed job description, hours of work per week, salary and other benefits , signed and stamped by company stamp is enough, any additions like the business card of your supervisor, pay slips and job appointment is welcome to make a more solid evidence for your work experience]

go to wes online ......make your profile .....create your reference number.....then go to ur college/university from where u have done your b.tech. and ask them to provide all transcripts/details marks cards whichever were issued by the university to you.......but they may either send these documents to Wes directly ......then again login to your profile and see when fees is required .....pay the fees ($299)
then just follow the online instructions ......u r done!
