Wish someone who paid MR Fees online could clear the ambiguity on the credit card payment page. The address state field is mandatory but it never changes even after we select country as India. Also while going through the steps I did not find any option anywhere of changing the currency to INR from CAD.

I don't mind the slight currency fluctuation, and as such dont mind paying in CAD. However, can someone please shed some light on what did they do for the Address state field while making payment through credit card?

Dear Senior Members,

I was just going through the 2013 SS... I noticed that LVO and many other VO's have processed the MR's in 2014 (the 2013 Applicants).
My question is...? Do we expect the same time span for the 2014 applications or is it expected to be quicker this time due to the start of Express Entry in January 2015... ::) ::) ::)

Your views and feedback will be greatly apprciated....Thanks in advance
The time span for 2014 applications have been much better than earlier, but that depends very much on the visa office. Look at the SS for LVO in the 2014 ss and see what's going on.

Agreed bro the time span has been excellent for NDVO and few other VO's but i guess LVO has been same as before...atleast i havent noticed any significant speed boost.... :(

International DDs are valid for 6 months. You have to make sure that your bank issues you a DD in CAD with 6 month validity. This is the safest method of payment. CC can be lost, be deactivated by the bank for any number of reasons, your bank might hold the transaction and so on. So DD is preferable.

Hello Seniors,

I have an issue on Representative Form. I used a representative before submitting the form and not before submitting the from I have decided not to use his services any more.

Should I submit cancellation in the representative form, even though I have not authorized the representative as I has not submitted the from yet?

Or should I ignore the representative form itself?

Thanks...

Yeh, probably you are right - it's data integrity question. Need confirmation from below applicants about authenticity of the input which causes average to go down substantially:

SS name PER AOR
farsaqsaa 8/18/2014 8/19/2014
M.A 8/5/2014 8/5/2014

Pls applicants, confirm those or else it will be removed.

Hi all,
Is it possible to use someone else's credit card as mine isn't international one.
I have a cousin who lives in Canada. I could use his credit card.
there are some applicants who got pr visa in the 6th month......from LVO

some got in the 8th and 10th month........from lvo

some got in the 12th and 14th month.......from lvo

and yes then there are those also who got in 2 years 3 years or even in the 4th year......from lvo!

brother it all depends from applicant to applicant. see if you have travelled in 2 or more countries, stayed there for more than 6 months, if you have worked in more than 1 organization, if you have lived in your own country but in different cities/provinces/states for more then 6 months, if you have education from different places abroad or even in your own country, if you have married a person from another country, if you got kids during ur app processing, if your docs got updated or changed during app processing, if u ate garlics more then gingers.......or u like mangoes more then peaches.........ok the last 2 I m just kidding...........

these things actually increase the processing time for the applicant......the lvo may goes into investigation in all those places and institutes and companies to verify your info............this hence increase the processing time dramatically and hence we have to wait more.

so don't worry, just enjoy the ginger and peaches.....or mangoes and potatoes and wait for your turn. if you have committed none of the above crimes :p then u will also get pr within 1 year.......actually avg processing time for lvo is 12 months......it can be less....it can be more but avg 1 year.

hope this helps, good luck.

Your question is not clear due to various typos. Please correct them.

If you mean you used a representative before submitting your application but not anymore, then no need to send the form with the application.

I don't believe Central Bank of a country will give access to this data to any Embassy - it is violation of sovereignty of a country. ??? ???

Century,

I agree Central bank will not give such data, but CIBIL is a private institute, not government body.

Stake held by Banks in India (nationalised, Private and MNCs) and major stake by MNC Company.

The answer is yes, you can use if that cardholder is able to give signature on the payment form for auto debit authorization.

So, get the signature from your cousin on the payment form.

If the application is not yet sent and you have never applied before, then no need to include the representative form.
