Hello Friends,

How old PCC is accepted by CIC.

like Can we submit it with the main application.

Does it is mandatory to get the PCC from the current address or we can get the PCC from the permanent address mentioned on the passport.

In both scenario the PSK will be different.

did not completed 1 year continuous at the current address.

Please suggest.

Hi Seniors. I'm a May 20 applicant, PER received last September 8. My sister in Canada changed address last June. Do I need to email Local Visa Office about the change in her address and send updated Proof of Residency? If yes, do I need to email it the soonest or wait after I received the MR email? Thanks.

Don't cry brother. I think, you will get AOR in this week. ;D ;D

I got my per on 18 aug........still no movement from lvo........inshAllah I m hopeful i will hear a good news this week from lvo........on avg its taking 36 days to issue aor or mr from lvo after per date. all the best for everyone waiting to hear anything from lvo and good luck.

bro it doesnt depend on city..It depends on time you have spent at given address..i guess you get yours from your city/state and for your wife from her parent's city/state....PCC is usually issued for a place where you have spent more than 1 year...

Don't wait for MR. Update the info right now. Your VO might/will check your sister's address prior to asking for medicals.

its not a big a issue, send an email and inform them about the address change. good luck.

PCC should not be older than 3 month when it reached CIO.

PCC received where you are currently living or you have lived earlier or from the address given at passport address is acceptable.

Yes PCC doesnt have an address, it does have the name of issuing department which usually is the state police.
in my case it was clearly mentioned in bold letters to get my PCC from HARAYANA. My permanent address is in Punjab.

PCC is not specific to address, it's issued by police high commissioner/passport office to show that you do not have any criminal cases against you.

Where and why will NDVO mention about PCC taken from specific city/location?

Ideally PCC should not be expired (12 months period)..on CIC website it says PCC should not be older than 3 month when submitting it..
You should get it from permanent address since you have not completed 1 year in your current address

Hi all,
Is it possible to use someone else's credit card as mine isn't international one.
I have a cousin who lives in Canada. I could use his credit card.

Dear Senior Members,

I was just going through the 2013 SS... I noticed that LVO and many other VO's have processed the MR's in 2014 (the 2013 Applicants).
My question is...? Do we expect the same time span for the 2014 applications or is it expected to be quicker this time due to the start of Express Entry in January 2015... ::) ::) ::)

Your views and feedback will be greatly apprciated....Thanks in advance

Yes, by "Maintenance Funds" i assume u mean "Settlement Funds" :)

Hi Saps,

Incorrectly wrote "Maintenance Funds" instead of "Proof of Funds" (POF) . Want to know whether EPF and PPF are also considered towards POF.

For the application fee? You can but I would suggest you use DD instead, much safer.
