For RPRF, recommended mode of payment is online by CC in INR. This way, there is no currency fluctuation risk and fees are charged immediately on the spot...
Hope this clarifies.

ya understood. But i don't have credit card. I called CIC newdelhi. They replied as no need to worry about the fluctuations. they said, provide DD or CC amount should be same as mentioned in the CIC fee schedule website. So i have taken DD already. Today and tomorrow weekend So i'm Planning to send by monday to NDVO. Inside india DHL and Bluedart is good i think so. Any idea?

Hi All,

I have worked at 2 IT companies in India but I've heard that none of them issues Letters of references (LORs). One of them is Sapient Consulting and the other is Infosys. May I know whether those of you who also worked in these companies got the LORs from the company or had to take the same from their supervisors/colleagues or the worst option that is Self Declaration (stating that my company doesn't provide LORs).

Please note one of these companies is my current company so I am bit worried as well as they would ask me the reason for getting LORs and might affect my employment and/or my upcoming appraisal.

Request to know from all you experienced people.

Note: Also wish to know from you people what issues you faced (if any) while getting the LORs, e.g. getting the roles and responsibilities on Company's Letterhead, etc.

letter from seniors mentioning job duties is fine in such cases.

Yes, that's what I am saying. If the visa office you have chosen in your application is your home country, then no need for visa stamps. Only the bio page of passport is necessary.

Hi All,

I am just finalizing my package to be sent today/tomorrow. Could you please help me with the following last minute query:

Can we write the title of a document on the copies that I am submitting? E.g. I want to write "Promotion Letter" or "Joining Letter' on the copies substantiating the experience letter, in order to ensure they go through the documents correctly.

I am adding a cover letter before the experience letters, and guiding them through the information presented. Doing this since most of my info is across multiple evidences.

Thanks!!

No need to write the "title of the document". CIC people are well trained towards this.

Do prepare a good cover letter though. This can summarise the important points of your application, any affidavits, any clarifications, etc.

Hi All,

A quick concern:

I have 4y 3m of professional IT work experience, specializing and working fulltime *only* in database technologies, in both my previous and current company. So, NOC 2172 looks most appropriate to me.
But in Indian companies, they give roles like Software Engineer/Sr. or Software Analyst or Programmer etc.

In such case, how can i get a job experience letter stating my database related works ??

Please advise.
