Hi done that as well. It wont reach the cap till the end of the year, unless there is a sudden rush in the next few months. It is very safe NOC as of now.

my WES evaluation is on the way,everything from my side is ready, me and my wife will take the IELTS this Saturday, so to receive the IELTS and apply on 2281 that will make the file reach by October 10th, but i am so worried

Don't worry about it, POF box is important.

Hello Seniors

Please can anybody tell how to get PCC from Singapore? I stayed 9 months there (Sep-08 to June-09)...

I asked the singapore police on mail they said that they may need official letter from any country regarding need of the PCC by applicant... As they stopped issuing this since long back only to non-citizens....

Citizens can get any time...

So problem is the no.of days when NDVO (MY EMBASSY) ask for submitting PCC of all countries (45 days). Singapore may delay in this which can adversely affct my application...

Hi All, thanks for replying to my query below[My original query is mentioned below]. I am planning to reapply under 2172 but, problem is i have already sent my original IELTS TRF with the first application. I talked to British council. They are not agreeing to provide a duplicate one. They can provide a duplicate TRF only if i forward them an acknowledgement that my original TRF is with CIC. Can i send the new application with a copy of the TRF and mention that my original TRF was already sent with the application for 2174? Please advise.

Dear All,

Thanks a lot for putting up so much of info. This really helps a lot. I need your suggestions regarding my FSW application.
Here is my situation: I have total 7 years of experience. Out of this,

First 4.2 years falls under 2174:Computer programmer
and remaining 2.9 years is under 2172atabase Administrators.

While I was able to get roles and responsibilities letter on company letter head for the 4.2 years under 2174, for 2172, my current organization refused to give any such letter. Because of this reason, i filed my application under 2174 and my application was received on Sep 11. Looking at the updates since then, the likelihood of my application for 2174 falling within the quota of 1000 is minimal or may not be there at all.

I heard that we can file under multiple categories so, i am thinking of filing another application under 2172 but, there is no process mentioned clearly on cic website regarding this. Is this possible? If yes, can you please point me to the location where any such info is available. Also, in case this is possible, do you think it is better for me to wait for the first application to be returned and then file the new one or, it would be just fine if i send a fresh one (probably with an explanation that i had filed under 2174 earlier)?
I am confused as, whether the first one gets through or comes back, i will be assigned a UCI but, I will not know it till i hear back on the first application.

I will still not be able to get roles and resp letter from my org but, can have one of my colleagues sign an affidavit for this. Further, all my payslips mention my designation as database admin and may help me in proving my experience. Hope such stuff will work.

Please advise.

If we just look at one time point, then this calculation is sound. But the "factor" part tends to vary a bit every week. So the estimated date of cap fill might vary a little too, but overall this is an eye-opener. Good job!

Not to worry. Keep a close watch, but you are safe. Collect everything and ensure everything is in place. The day you receive your IELTS, you should just add that document and send the app.
