Hi All,

I am new joinee to the league, I mean to the league of FSWP applicants. Happy to see lot of motivation and support from everyone. And to be honest, I've been referred by one of my colleagues to visit this site as it contains very good content, posts and will clear most of my doubts. Although I am very late to have just started the process but am quite optimistic and wish we all can have a union in Canada in the New Year sometime. Wish all the very best to everyone who wants to get a PR.

Correct me if I am wrong but PCCs are valid for 6 months.

PCC validity is 12 months (1 year), but need to be provided within 3 months of Issuance to CIC.

Hi aav, Sorry, on a slightly different track - why aren't you paying by a debit card or a credit card in INR on this one? That's easier when one has to pay by self and when it does not involve waiting for several months for getting charged but one gets charged instantaneously. For RPRF, my recommendation is to use credit or debit card, whichever suits better for an individual (and works on their portal)!!!

PS - Ignore my post - when I re-read I didn't find the word DD, but somehow I earlier got confused that you are planning on using a DD for this. Or may be I saw that earlier in the day, not sure? Hopefully I am not dreaming LOL

Finally got PER!!!!!
May 16th applicant
NOC : 2174

I got PER thru postal service, in that letter they mentioned i paid fees CAD 550 but my DD was of CAD 1100.
How to contact CIC to clear this query?

1. The photo requirements specify that I have to provide photos for each member of my family. whether accompanying or not..I am the only applicant ( my parents are not applying) , but does that mean I have to give photos for my parents as well?

Secondly, I cant seem to find a 9 by 12 envelope..would CIC be fine with another size?

Now I am 99% sure it's 22 points.

Actually a post secondary three year diploma means at least 15 years of full time study
but in this case it is 3 years diploma but only 13 years of full time study

No, parents are not your dependent or family member for the purpose of PR application. Only spouse and children are considered family members.

Simply use a larger size, no problem.
