Many people here say that because already over 660 apps are filled for 2174 for applications that have received PER till roughly May 22, the cap will be filled by mid-June, I created the following analysis.

The graph shows the cumulated amount of apps received in the SS by date for the 5 hottest NOC.

Assuming that the CAP update by CIC includes PERs for all apps received until May 22, we can figure out that on May 22, the number of apps in the SS for 2174 is 222. Let's divide this by the 662 that CIC updated this Monday and we can conclude that roughly 33.5% of all apps received by CIC for 2174 are included in the SS.

The question now is, when does the CAP reach overall 1000. To figure this out, I checked when the apps in the SS reached 335 (33.5% out of 1000), which happened on August 14.

My analysis presumes that all people who have not reported back their status for May 1 - 22 received PER and did simply not update their entry in the SS, which accounts to roughly 25%. Their might be a few May 1 - 22 applicants that still will receive PER and were not yet considered in the cap updates by CIC, but as there were also some May 23/26 applicants that received PER already, this number should balance.

I hope that this is helpful for anyone even though my estimate is more pessimistic that the official SS estimate.

All other caps are not filled yet, but based on this analysis, 2173 should be next in early October.

Again, this is just my personal take on this and only an estimate. Please do not freak out. :)

Close to what my predictions are :

2174 - 8th Aug recd apps.
2173 - 4th oct recd apps.

Now we need to wait and watch

As per http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/ECA_table_EN.pdf , "Secondary school diploma & diploma(two years)"counts as a two year post secondary credential. So Oscar is right and he'll get 22 points since he has fulfilled the criteria for 22 points with a Bachelor's degree and a .

A 3 year or more post-secondary credential in combination with any of the post-secondary educational credentials** listed below. 22 points

This issue has already been cleared. It's 21 points. The diploma is "secondary" not "post-secondary" as evaluated by WES.

Dont know if my question is silly or the post is just getting lost due to page volumes. Trying one more time here

Guidance Required !!

Please, can someone tell me - where is the fee form for RPRF? CIC fee payment instruction guide states "IMM 5620", but this form only has check boxes for the initial processing fee, i.e. 550$ for each applicant. I dont think this form has RPRF section, i.e. 490$ per applicant

Can someone please guide me to the right place where I should be looking?

CIC wesite says : Two or more Canadian post-secondary degrees or diplomas or equal (at least one must be for a program of at least three years) - 22 points.
WES says 1 degree equals to bechlors & 2nd equals to secondary school diploma and diploma -two years ( i think this is not post secondary so they will not consider this as 2nd degree & i may get only 21 points )

right?

Yes, enabling card for international transactions and setting higher limit for international txns is one thing that you must do right away.

Thanks mate. But how about just requesting my bank to allow my cc for international transactions as early as now? Is it advisable now to do so? Thanks again.

Upon further inspection, I agree with SSP. It does look like the "secondary diploma and diploma (2 years)" is equal to a 2 year post-secondary credential. So, this in combination with a Bachelor's degree would be 22 points.

Sorry for the earlier post and confusion.
