Hi Seniors,

@Oscar, Century, Ashif..

First of all thank you very much everyone for contributing to this lovely forum. With the kind of information that flows here, sooner or later all consultants will have to shut their shops :)

I have come across a very interesting question by one of my friend (not part of this forum so far)
He had taken IELTS and was not eligible because he scored 5.5 in writing. He took IELTS again, this time he scored 6.5 in writing but 5.5 in lisening.
Is there any chance that he can use both his results to apply ? I did not find any relevant positive or negative info on CIC. Kindly give your opinion.
Thanks.

Freinds

I just learned from the local mumbai medical panel representative that "Apendex C form" is required to be duly filled and submitted at the medical center for each applicants before undergoing medical.
I am not sure if I came read about this Apendex C form anywhere on the CIC website, atleast not on the pages that give detail info on medical procedure.

The representative then gave me the URL from where i can download this form. Since this is not visibly apparent through the CIC medical pages links and info, I am pasting the form link here for everybody's benefit. Please check with your local medical panel physician if this is required for them too. I am guessing the procedure should be same everywhere.

Here is the link

Dear Marcel,

CIC will review only last 10 years of record form the date your application has received by them or will be received by them. So do not bother about last 13 year period records just focus on last 10 years period.

Cheers
10 years is not applicable for PCC. As per instruction guide:

These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

HELP HELP HELP!!!

I have been desperately waiting for my CC to be charged. I live in the USA and had provided an American Express Card number. I receive an e-mail from American Express that a fraud activity was reported to my card. I check the e-mail and it shows "CITIZENSHIP IMM FSW" It seems American Express blocked my card and did not approve the transaction. I have called the bank and removed the block.

My only concern is How do I contact CIC and ask them to charge my card again? I am a May 30th Applicant. I am not sure if CIC will attempt to charge my card again.

Any opnions? I am really worried.

Be rest assured bro.... Same case was with me.... on first attempt on 20th August went unsuccessful.... 2nd attempt on 27th Aug was successful..... All the best....

hello Seniors,

I am a 16th May DD applicant for NOC 2174. My DD encashment is still pending standing as of yesterday ( as per my bank-ICICI bank).
Should I wait for some more time or write an email to CIC ? It will be nice if the email id is shared where I can write an email about status update and what details I need to provide in that email.

I was told by the phone banking guy of CIC that they will come to know about the DD enchantment instantly...Contact them if u have not done it already...

hello everyone! anyone here already got a rejection? how are they going to inform you? may 6 applicant and still cc has not been charged and no feedback from them yet.

Ah, that's a happy news! Thanks :)

Thanks Optimist! I have added his complete contact information and planning to attach his business card as well, along with his ID card scan (haven't asked about ID card, but I'm sure he'll agree when I offer a glass of scotch ;) )

My two cents...
Just attach business card, don't go overboard with id card etc... it will look like you are trying too hard and may put your application for more scrutiny... :o

Dude,

6 in each (L, R, W, S) is a mandatory requirement, and you cannot club 2 different results.

Palak, how are you mate :)

I am trying to understand the delay in my PER, though its been 4 working days since it was charged. :p

looking at the trend, how CIC is sending rejections, i have not seen any case where after charging the file has been rejected. Cases where rejections have been, no payments have been charged, which means they are now first doing the complete application review (sort of PER) and then only charging for the application..

What say, i am curious to know as i see people asking no status update after getting charged (both cc/dd)

It should not say "non-recognized institution". I believe you wont get point for degree/diploma if your ECA states bachelor's or PG from a non-recognized institution. I can tell you that because I had the same issue, I did BTech from Amity University and initially WES sent report with: "Canadian equivalency- bachelor's degree from a non-recognized institution".

I provided scanned copy of University letter head stating all the institutions it is recognized by and affiliated to. Most importantly WES is looking for UGC recognition of your university.

You can get it from your registrar and scan the copy to WES at the email id mentioned at the turn over page of your WES Credential report and they shall revert it and send you new copy in 2-4weeks. i got mine in 15days.

Good luck..

+1 for this info :)

It is 749 applications in 5 days. See CIC web. it has written "as of sept 12" last they updated on sept 08, 01.00 p.m Nova Scotia time. They didn't add that days application. So my guess is they are now just doing completeness chq and later they will charge CC/DD and will send PER. If you closely look at SS you will see that they took tooooo much time abt May applicants(1st & 2nd week). They issued PER for the last 10 days applicants very very quickly. Some got within a week after charging their CC/DD. As they took too much time abt May applicants they will now move very fast. Cozz it's impossible to charge CC/DD and issue PER for 749 applicants in just 5 days.

Dear all,
By the grace of almighty Allah today i got a letter stating that they have received my application and some links how to inform CIC about any one of my status is changed. i am assuming that its a AOR.

Seniors need your help.

last month joined a new team with different job responsibility in the same organization. Should i uptate it by following their mentioned link? or keep silent as my organization is still same?

Another thing as my applied noc is no longer valid for my new role will it hamper my VISA processing anyway?
