CIC is also slow. We have not seen much PER and CC charge from last two days. Seniors pls comments........

On the contrary, CIC has been quite good with the pace last 6-7 working days. They are jumping to a new date each date since last 6 days and perhaps the number of applicants per day are also decreasing. Also it could be that many of them opted for DD so far fewer CC charge reported here. At this pace they can surely cover June in around 4-5 weeks compared to the earlier estimates of 8-10 weeks.

helllo people,

i have sent my application under NOC 3142 ON june 2nd and i have sent it through an agency .i dont have any tracking number, hoping that it reached on 10th of june. when will get my PER?

1st June was a Sunday so expect a jump to 2nd June to make you feel better :).

Best of luck with your application. Hope CIC continues with the same pace.

Feeling better now . ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hello Seniors,

I wanted to know the verification process .....
1)What step/stage does this take place...
2)Is verification a must or what are the chances ?
3) They call at front desk or Reporting managers for the same or they just verify through emails?

Pls reply.....-

One more thing.. as i mentioned earlier also that as per the courier records my application was revd on Sept 10.... can i update the same in SS under App revd header?

Hi
I did my post graduate diploma in Journalism from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan. My WES Report says Canadian equivalency: 'TWO Years of post secondary study at a non recognised institution'
I am applying under NOC 1123.
will CIC consider my this PG diploma for immigration ? or is it subject to rejection ?
Kindly advice. i am in dilemma.....
thanks in anticipation

It should not say "non-recognized institution". I believe you wont get point for degree/diploma if your ECA states bachelor's or PG from a non-recognized institution. I can tell you that because I had the same issue, I did BTech from Amity University and initially WES sent report with: "Canadian equivalency- bachelor's degree from a non-recognized institution".

I provided scanned copy of University letter head stating all the institutions it is recognized by and affiliated to. Most importantly WES is looking for UGC recognition of your university.

You can get it from your registrar and scan the copy to WES at the email id mentioned at the turn over page of your WES Credential report and they shall revert it and send you new copy in 2-4weeks. i got mine in 15days.

Good luck..

Thats perfect. Ensure you get your supervisor who is giving you the letter to put in his phone number or email, just in case CIC wants to contact him.

Hi optimist,

I only did step 2 and 3 as wolf_metallo i.e

2. Attaching salary slips/appointment/promotion letters, etc.

3. Listed my job responsibilities on a "Company Letterhead" and asked my manager to sign it - got him in confidence to keep it secret. Got the company letter head from a friend in HR.

However, on the letter my tenure, designation adn salary and all required details were mentioned....is that fine bro?

It seems there were issues with the JD sent by you as well as with Form 5406E.

Can you confirm that you sent Form 5406 E for you and your family members, whether accompanying or not?

Also if you can post your JD then the forum members can comment on what could possibly be the issue.

I am afraid with the return case of "ToCanadaWithLove"... I have also not included the following two forms in my application because they were not applicable to me:

1) Additional Dependants / Declaration (IM 0008 DEP)
2) Use of a Representative (IM 5476)

The only dependents are my wife and my baby (8 months old), therefore I didn't included IM0008DEP as the info of these two dependents are already included in Generic Form. However, in place of these two forms I printed two papers with the name of form written on them and "Not Applicable" written at the end.

Anybody else skipped these two forms and got PER??
